you can say what has mixed well with pon and also what you do with a plant that has been in pon, and/or what you do with the rooty old pon ~ love your channel
Loved the tickle video! I can’t imagine how amazing it must be to get a mystery box from Wuhoo tropicals. I would cry probably. They picked some beauties for you two. I am sooooo jealous!!!
Here in the states private school and public is the exact way. I went to private school (catholic school) and I do miss it tbh! Made the most best friends!!
Your Pon video as described is useful and yes yes please make it :) All your topics in 31:36 are A, and really really long video is great for us haha. Also maybe you can talk about if you ever mix pon with organic matter like worm castings or do no drainage with fish emulsions? I haven't but a friend of mine mixed that with leca once and she warned me to never repeat it again because it smelled like 'diarreah jelly from satan himself'
Hi Alice, great repotting video, enjoyed it a lot, thanks for sharing. You are so good at growing anthuriums. I only have three type clarynervium, crystalinum and waterburanum. I have two babies that I grow from my own clarynervium seed. Since 2021, but they are still very small. What is the best way to grow them big? I recently got tree Fern fiber and thinking to mix that with soil and perlite as media for them. I also put them under grow light which has made the media go dry faster. What else do you think I should do?
As far as the talking about customers being silly-just do it in a chatty repot. That way both groups of people get what they came for? Idk. I’ll watch anything you put out-it’s great content to play while doing various chores.
Yes! I don't know if anybody liked the last video with Charmaine talking about their career, but I loved watching that and picked up wisdom on it as well 😄
I would def love a pon video! I’ve been doing lots of research to start switching but lechuza is so expensive. I’ve started in perlite just to kind of get the hang of watering.
For leca and pon, you can just rinse them in bleach as well. Lots of nurseries do it. Doesn't hurt the plants. I can't put substrates in my oven. Creeps me out.
anything you want to do re: pon I would be happy to watch as long as you're clear about what you are experienced with and what's an experiment (as you always are!) if you don't feel comfortable 'giving advice' on DIY pon, maybe a 'DIY pon experiment' video? trying a few different mixes to see what works best? would likely take a long time to film updates for though >.>
A pon series would be so nice. I just got my hands on some and I still intend to make my own. I want to compare the two. I’m willing to suck up the cost if my plants love lechuza, but I want to be sure.😅 Anyone trying to get a diy pon recipe immediately-wildfern has a video.:D
I don’t know about your local plant groups but every few months we’ll get someone purging supplies to get out of the hobby and they give away or sell pon for super cheap!
Here's the thing about predatory mites... You then have predatory mites, and they can crawl on you. I've noticed that lately my plants have predatory mites, and they don't hurt my plants but they are still bugs in my plants. I don't have many because I don't have a pest issue. They're mostly in my Milsbo tall, and I just see one every now and again. Still gross.
I have been using predatory mites for over a month now, and I promise they don’t crawl on you. They want to stay on your plants cuz thats where the food is. Also they are so teeny tiny, you can barely even see them. So even if they did crawl on you you wouldn’t even notice…
I'm glad you've had such a great experience with Wuhoo. Right now, I'm not thrilled with them. I purchased an Anthurium Black Velvet Eastern Panama 'Oliver' which is, by far, the most expensive plant I've ever purchased. They shipped it quickly, but I emailed them three times over a week ago without a response... So in my experience, you'll get your order quickly, but if you need help your SOL. I hope that's not the norm for them, but...
Great Q & A potting-up vid. Thanks for sharing!
thank you for answering my question!!! 😄
Yes yes yes to the pon video.
Yes to pon video! Watering with Pon…water levels. When do you know to water again…when water is gone or when Pon looks dry? Etc
Thanks!!
Yes the recipe for pon would be good.

They always have such fun hybrids going, and other oddballs if you’re not into anthuriums! I’ve been eyeing their huperzia 😍
I just looked them up and OMG that carlablackiae , the price I almost choked . You're some lucky ladies. You both deserve them and some much more

Whers the link to the label maker 😢
