The 2016 election outcome and the Democrat BLM movement both costed over $2 billion worth of damage around the US, involving burning, looting, smashing and destroying, shutting down freeways and airports are all the things Democrats did. That’s the issue, all the Trump supporters honestly believe that the majority support trump. They think that if anyone opposes him than they must be of the minority.
That's because most counties around the US vote Republican, whereas the big cities vote Democrat.
Democrats live in both a literal and figurative bubble. The Left don't know what the real world is. That's why they support...
1) Defunding the police, because Leftists usually live in well off suburbs that generally don't see a lot of crime.
2) Restricting gun ownership, because, as mentioned in the 'defund the police' point; they generally live in safer areas and also don't have to deal with wild animals attacking livestock and destroying crops.
3) Shutting down the country due to Covid-19, because they think food just magically appears on the store shelves and think money can just be printed and handed out in mass without affecting the value of that currency.
4) Socialist programs, because the left doesn't understand the correlation between labor and currency value, supply and demand, that the reason resources and services are produced is because someone else had ro provide that with their labor.
5) Open borders, because they think the government has unlimited resources to just provide to anyone and everyone, without having any effect on the economy, culture, and stability of the nation.

Trump 2024 debunked. If trump won it would have been the first time in history that a president was re-elected after losing the popular vote. Trumps approval rating was already lower than 50% even before his disastrous Covid response which plummeted his approval ratings even more. Even in his previous election, the majority of voters voted against him. It’s pretty clear that the probability of him winning was very low

Prior political affiliation bias, constant or threatening peer/social pressure, lack of education/ understanding (like where I'm from in the poor ruralish areas where ppl are deluded that the coal industry will survive and have few higher-education opportunities), conscious/ unconscious unpopular social beliefs (I'm talking about racism, sexism, classism, xenophobic, anti-science like with climate change, etc that align with Trump). That's all I can think of right now. No, not every supporter has all these things, but I do think they're signifigant factors.

The spark in BLM protests had happened far before covid had gotten so big, and many of the protests had began because of the blatant racism and inequality shown by the police and other groups. They wanted police who had killed innocent people in jail, they wanted the system to be reformed so that people who weren't ready wouldn't be out in the streets armed to the teeth. Meanwhile yelling to "stop the count" or "recount the votes" in large groups outside the supreme court with more than 200k covid deaths because your preferred representative is losing is far less justified, especially when your accusing the opposing party of things like voter fraud with little to no evidence. Of course the BLM protests had taken place at an awful time because you were absolutely still at risk of catching covid, but to many people these protests represented the risking of their lives for the safety of thousands of others, especially when they knew about the risk of police in military grade riot gear. The only things I can't excuse would be the actual riots that caused the death of innocent people. Of course many people lost their lives, jobs, or homes due to them, but even the riots had fighting from BOTH sides, not just BLM protesters.
Also extremely large crowds, very closely packed together, and several people not wearing masks. I guess COVID-19 disappeared.
Democrats aren't the good guys and neither are Republicans. Wake up.
