- Hey, guys! Come along with me on my first trip to the NAMM show... also my first vlog! 😊 I have wanted to attend a NAMM show for quite some time now, but never really had the chance to. So this Overall, the event was truly an awesome experience. It was definitely a bit overwhelming at times, with just so much to see and do: Checking out booths, demos and exhibits; running into recognizable faces; live music and performances, etc, etc. 😀
As I mentioned earlier, this was my first attempt at a vlog style video. With time and practice, I hope I will get better at it. 🤔 lol Anyways, thank you all for watching. I really appreciate it. 👊🙂
What is NAMM?
The NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants) is an annual event in the U.S that it's organizers describe as "the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products, pro audio and event tech industry". Brands, manufacturers and retailers from all over the globe get together to display, demo, and discuss the latest and most exciting products in the musical instrument industry. This creates the perfect environment for gear-heads/junkies to nerd-out on music gear and feel right at home amongst thousands of other gear-junkies. lol 😄

Unfortunately, I didn't. 🙁 There is so much to see, so it's hard to stay in 1 spot. Plus, they had the Keystep Pro hooked up to some Eurorack modules, which made it more challenging to figure out. I felt like I spent more time trying to get the modules to sound the way I wanted them to and less time actually getting to mess around with the Keystep. I think it would have been a much better experience if they were hooked up to some desktop synths instead. A setup like that would be a lot more straight forward in my opinion.
Oh, well. I already preordered one anyways. 😉 I can already tell that its gonna be a very useful sequencer/ performance tool. 👍
@@littleBIGsynths I understand. When Sonic State visited the Arturia booth it was mentioned that the firmware was not quite done and the unit on display was a pre-production prototype. I hope they can get everything sewn up in time for the March shipments. I really want this for my rig.
