Wisconsin Death Trip is an album that stands the test of time. This album should be studied in college courses. 25 years later and is still better than most new music released. Every song hits hard.
Also seen them live back in 07-08ish and by far one of the best shows I've seen. And even though Wayne has passed on they still out on a great show. Last seen them in '23
Back at the end of music videos on MTV they did a weekend of metal videos that were animation and this one was on and I was hooked! My kids played the CD more than I did! We lost a good one when Wayne passed but they keep his memory alive. Saw them November 23 and it was a GREAT show!
I've heard many stories about Wayne Static and each of them are cool 😂 Like one time he met some random dude in a convenience store, but Wayne somehow remembered him from one of his concerts. Amazing.
I was fortunate enough to see Static-X and Dope open for Fear Factory when this album came out. Had no clue who the first two bands were but they all brought that fucking heat! Im proud to say I seen Wayne in his band's infancy.
3 years ago Static-X actually did tour with Rob Zombie Mudvayne and Powerman 5000 is there a new lead singer remains anonymous rumor is he's the lead singer of dope
I always took this song meaning as rampant and overt consumption and materialism and the idea to bombard people with ideology or consumerism until it becomes unstoppable.
Definition of a banger. Rest in peace, Wayne.

Every time I hear that “I see it, I need it” I get goosebumps. Wayne had such a great voice that was so was so incredibly versatile.

I actually saw them with Powerman 5000, Dope and Chevelle so yes they did tour with Powerman. Got to meet Wayne which was amazing!
I saw them with Pantera, Slayer, and Morbid Angel in 2001. I think I win...

Powerman 5000 and Static-X must of known each other, or both got tips from Spider's older brother, Rob Zombie. Very similar. So good

Yeah Static X 🔥
POWERMAN 5000 reminds me of STATIC X,I think it's not the way they sound, it's the lead singers resemble each other
Stop motion
Shout-out to Duke Nukem Land of the Babes. Goated game and my introduction to Static X.
