I got it lol I'm such a Muppet. I used a different method and used the cos double angle formula and didn't distribute the 2 in the original x equation into 2cos^2t-1. I'm such a Muppet lol 😭😭😭😭😭

Dammit for part b i keep getting root -4x+12 instead of +8 for some reason and its really annoying me
