God I can't wait for remastered. I actually started playing d2 lod again and working on building my MF toon. To build a pvp toon it's been si many years but all us coming back to me as I play.
Epic close of season, very good matches, some 2-2 duels, and the final was gold!. Like a barbarian main character, i enjoy his win too, and MTL was close to win the final too. Who say that Diablo and PvP can't be funny and competitive? I hope Diablo IV have in his mind at the start of development this important part of the game (with trade). What a season man. I honestly couldn't believe that Punch pulled out the win in the end. I thought after that flawless round 1 from Joby it was all but over. Not an easy matchup for a barb.
Sorry i know that this is long overdue but i wonder what PUNCH was using with his gears versus DOOK (the trapsin). I can only see the gface that he was using.
Doesn't it seem a bit unfair for the ES sorc to spam mana pots, since it is effectively a health bar for them? Some of these duels, I noticed the ES sorc never runs out of mana from their own spamming only from taking ES damage. Been so long since I did PvP in D2, so it's nostalgic to watch and brings back a lot of memories. There wasn't a bunch of teleporting Barbs back then, but I think that adds to the hilarity :D Thanks for the video :)
Rewatching this, I think punch would have did better if he used fort. However then he might need more frw also. Some passes though even with Enig Punch slapped Joby hard down to nearly half.
@@Coooley I'm actually building a barb atm, I'm planning to load 10max/ar/life and AR/life gcs 14max/AR dmg gcs. Small charms I can't get 3/20/20s so I'm doing 20 life and defs/life and life/resists scs. I'm kinda wanting to test Doom/grief. I've got a near max coa so I think I'll use that. I have enigma and fort for swap armors. I plan to go with near max Rends that I've hand laying around. Dungos, angelic 1 frost and gore riders. I'll come up with an arreats for caster with a resists jewel or kiras with a max resists rune. I'm also going to use a 3 war cries ammy for bo. In the end my life will be lower then Matty but my damage will be higher with 10 max dmg lifer and 14max dmg AR gcs.
@@Coooley I wasn't sure if there was a class-specific ban for exile vs barbs. It is EXTREMELY powerful against barbs and seems like a no-brainer to use it, especially with so much on the line.
They’re predictable and have a blind spot. Only thing they got really are desync hammers (hammers that are considered active but are invisible to a opponent).

Barb deserved to win, he played correct all the time, not perfect vs sin, but those mb/sm/traps randomly hitting you 24/7 destroys ur next move 24/7 xD But why are no1 using oak? Also: 175plr/85pr gear legit? Lol :p
I've always felt PvP and to this day I love hearing the "hostile" sound...
