Kind of a shame they don't have this play for the movies intro or credits, it's beautiful
honestly thought this was the credits. THought I had missed something.
This is so good. We've waited so long for this film and now that the music is available I am really eager to finally be able to see it! Yay for Wes and Jarvis!
why am I not surprised to read you there !
@@noama.6610 surprise surprise! 😉
I actually found that the music video was the best part of the french dispatch
Never realized Jarvis singing this song makes so much sense
Just realized after getting to watch the screening for French Dispatch, this video is kind of the short summarized film of what transpired hahaha
moi aussi
I’ve been looking forward to the full song ever since it played in the original trailer… I am so excited!
What a release data in your ?
🔥👏👏👏
😅😅😅❤
the amount of detail in this animation is absolutely amazing
Please, make a complimentary animated series to the main film EXACTLY like this - I'm pretty sure people would watch the heck out of that.
Wes Anderson can only surpass himself at this point. French dispatch is the best film of all time & it’s sad we have to wait so long for Wes’s next film. Hooray to Wes & the French dispatch. Art at it’s finest
not too long a wait now :)
Wasn’t really much of a wait, it was two years which is actually pretty fast for an Anderson project, it usually takes him a good few years
@@mrcritical6751 i could have died in the last 2 years
I’m amazed this Is Jarvis Cocker singing. I’m almost getting this is the ending credits.
So good to hear Jarvis singing like this... But this France we lost makes me sad
This album by Jarvis is one of his best solo works
If this isn't the opening credits of the film I'm gonna flip
it's not. this video isn't in the film at all but the song is featured in a special moment
@@sampam123 well that's good enough for me
it is the opening credits lol
Saddly is not. But once the song appears on Scene, you want to listen to it fully.
@@BeruBeruIce yes! I fell in love inmediatly! I searched the song and I can't stop listening Aline!!
I don't know what it is with the start if this song, but it's really just magnificent
J'avais dessiné
Sur le sable
Son doux visage
Qui me souriait
Puis il a plu
Sur cette plage
Dans cet orage
Elle a disparu
Et j'ai crié, crié
Aline!
Pour qu'elle revienne
Et j'ai pleuré, pleuré
Oh! J'avais trop de peine
Je me suis assis
Auprès de son âme
Mais la belle dame
S'était enfuie
Et je l'ai cherchée
Sans plus y croire
Et sans un espoir
Pour me guider
Et j'ai crié, crié
Aline!
Pour qu'elle revienne
Et j'ai pleuré, pleuré
Oh! J'avais trop de peine
Je n'ai gardé
Que ce doux visage
Comme une épave
Sur le sable mouillé
Et j'ai crié, crié
Aline!
Pour qu'elle revienne
Et j'ai pleuré, oh, pleuré
Oh! J'avais trop de peine
Et j'ai crié, crié
Aline!
Pour qu'elle revienne
Et j'ai pleuré, pleuré
Oh! J'avais trop de peine
Et j'ai crié
Aline!
Aline!
Et j'ai crié
Aline!
Aline!
Aline!
Aline!
Aline!
I don't understand this at all, but it opens with Jarvis Cocker,
Gets a like from me
Anyone else notice Wes Anderson driving the French Dispatch truck?
That somehow lookscute xD
So hype for this movie now.
Jarvis and Wes…a perfectly matched pair. Make the idiosyncratic, beautiful and artistically singular.
Omg this song brings me back to my first French class back in my home city… was just telling my husband abt this song last month without knowing it’s a major song on THIS movie 😂😂😭😭
I saw this film and it was exactly what I expected in the way you can never fully expect what is going to happen
I haven't read all the comments, perhaps it's down there somewhere. This song was created in the 60s by french artist Christophe , who passed away recently . Rip.
Intro sounds like the MTA train leaving… anybody else?
I feel like this would've served better as the film's end credits.
What a beautiful and artistic movie clip. All these colours…and all these sentiments with lyrics…amazing….
He
Oh j'avais trop peine
J'adore!! I learned the lyrics for Aline and I sang along 🎵 at #TheFrenchDispatch London red carpet gala premiere a few days ago - AND Jarvis Cocker shook my hand!! ❤️ 😚🤝🙌🏾
The guy in yellow suit might be Jarvis but it also reminds me of Jason Schartzman in Bored to Death
Never ever seen this movie but this is the most stylish thing i have ever seen
Man, him and animation just clicks
I'm so excited, I've been waiting to see this since I read that they had started filming it years ago
I love The French Dispatch and this song.
Nothing is more "French" than the appearance of Citroen DS ❤
Citroën 2cv would beat that.
@@auto_math I mean even Citroen Type H and 2CV can't beat DS. DS has comfort and luxurious look, something "French"
Brilliant from tip to toe. The music, scenery, characters, actors. Longing to watching it.
C'est formidable! So fantastic words cannot describe! So looking forward to this!
That's beatiful. I can't wait till I see The French Dispatch. We have some problems with Dispatch in Russia, but I hope it'll really realize on November 18
Just saw the movie. I adored it through and through. Especially the animated part with the police chase. We need Wes to do his next movie in that style entirely.
Oh dude, when it turned out the guy was just running a big circle back to his car and the chase resumed, everyone in the theater lost it.
I'm looking forward to the film, and I really enjoyed this. I'm not familiar with Javi Aznarez, but it felt like a French Edward Gorey. I'll have to look him up.
Çok güzeeel niye kimse dinlememiş :(
Absolutely amazing!
Beautiful intro and credits. Nice song cover. Film was a bit uneven but still glad I saw it 🎉
THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE SO GOOD I CANT WAIT
Here for Jarvis.
Cheers to the listeners of this song before the movie came out!
Beautiful ❤️

Beautiful
Did he just throw my cat out of the hot air balloon ?
metro videosundan geldim güzel şarkıymış
Wes is the truck driver!
That’s pretty awesome!!!! It’s masterpiece.
Can't wait! I hope the movie is even half as good as this fabulous animation and ost!

Lupin the 3rd. A Wes Anderson film.
Jarvis should've learnt French before singing this
Who is the character in the yellow suit, dancing ?
the guy in the album cover art of Aline
Jarvis Cocker
Is there someone that is not in this film?
Jarvis
@@monicavalencia5645 Theoretically, JARV IS, because a painted picture of him as "Tip Top" is on the jukebox in that café :)
Ah the DS, the DS...

I DREW ON THE SAND
HER SWEET FACE THAT SMILED TO ME
THEN IT RAIN IN THE BEACH
SHE VANISHED IN THE STORM
AND I YELLED, YELLED, ALINE, TO COME BACK
AND I CRIED, CRIED, OH, I WAS TOO SAD
I SAT NEAR HER SOUL
BUT THE PRETTY LADY WAS GONE
I WAS LOOKING FOR HER WITHOUT BELIEVING
AND WITHOUT A HOPE, TO GUIDE ME
AND I YELLED, YELLED, ALINE, TO COME BACK
AND I CRIED, CRIED, OH! I WAS SO SAD
I JUST KEEP HER SWEET FACE
JUST LIKE A WRECKAGE ON THE WETTING SAND
AND I YELLED, YELLED, ALINE, TO COME BACK
AND I CRIED. CRIED, OH! I WAS SO SAD
AND I YELLED, YELLED, ALINE, TO COME BACK
AND I CRIED, CRIED, OH! I WAS SO SAD...
Anyone else here from alamo drafthouse? 🥰 haha
Türk yok mu Türk, yorum lütfen.
Who came from the train vid in tiktok👍🫡
🤣🤣🤣🤣 mãe
Pretty good film but is there an actual point to it? There are so many other worthwhile distractions I can barely explain myself properly.
Is it only me or do you also find yourself being tortured for thinking creatively?
These illegal acquisitions of the biologies and creative thoughts of others must stop Glasgow.
We do not deserve to be held in a retarded conflicting state to satisfy improvements in already established and wealthy employees of politicised industry.
Down with slavery. 👎
creep
This movie was absolute shit. Hated it.
ah, to be lying in bed with my lover as this song plays in the background
Most absurd movie I have ever seen, and I loved it!🤩👌🧐🥸
Must say. It was an interesting movie.
Wes Anderson surely put all of himself into the movie.
My favorite part would be the Animated ones.
Where it would feel like I was watching some Tintin Comics in animation.
Not to forget the scenes where this song appears.
Magnificent.
Tintin is a great comparison! I didn't think of that.
SO seconded. I think that's what the prior Tintin movie was missing; the cadence and pentameter and delivery of a Wes Anderson touch to the line delivery.
cool review but why are you typing like that bro lmao
actually i didn't like the animated bit , it feel out of place , like it was suppose to be a Claymation bit just like what they did in the grand Budapest hotel and not 2d , i think this movie is my 2nd least favorite wes film , i loved the start of the movie and the 1st story it was great , i hated the 2nd story so much and if i ever wanted to watch this a 3rd time i will skip it , the last story was ok
@@RED01SEA well it was animated cause the guy said the story was depicted in a comic strip the following week so it fits
Never thought of Jarvis Cocker collaborating with Wes Anderson, but hindsight is 20/20. Its more like why have they not worked together before this?
They have worked with each other before! 🦊
He was Petey in Fantastic Mr Fox
a while ago my dad and i were listening to jarvis cocker in the car. he said jarvis sang like a french person and asked if he was one. i said he was british and showed my dad this cover (aline is our favorite song) and he said somehow jarvis did not sound french in this! apparently he mispronounced quite a lot of words too
It’s so beautiful
I would kill for a film animated like this
JARVIS !!!!
he just straight-up murdered that cat, huh
I dont think so,catd csn fall good
I think it went on the chimney.
Aww this is mood all its own ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋😘😘😘
