Chania is a city on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. It’s known for its 14th-century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and waterfront restaurants. At the harbor entrance is a 16th-century lighthouse with Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences. Opposite, the Nautical Museum has model ships, naval objects and photographs. The former monastery of St. Francis houses the Archaeological Museum of Chania.
It's so sweet how the horses are covered with umbrellas! I always feel so sorry for them having to work in the heat...

Zameer, you are totally right. And cool Samaria water is the best, much better than the highly priced table waters. I'm looking forward for taking a big mouthful Samaria water in October ... and of course some sips of a good Cretan wine ;-)))

I'm coming to Chania for the first time in over 40 years. I can't believe I'm actually coming because it's a very special place for me. Bringing friend. We'll be in Chania from 3rd till 8th September, then Paleochora until 12th then 3 nights in Loutro (what a treat!), then back to Chania for the last 2 nights. Any chance of meeting you and buying you a drink in thanks for your delightful videos?!
