Omg yes girl! The bar at the top of your screen when doing races is your stamina bar. The higher level your horse is, the longer the bar will stay green because that means you still have plenty of stamina. Your horse also runs the fastest when the bar is green, as it turns orange it slows down. Then red, your horse doesnt run fast.
The coin race is a bonus race that gives you the chance to win cool rewards. You get it by winning 10 multiplayer races, and yes it is still in the game.
