I hadn't cried but a small handful of times since my dad died 11 years ago...still hurts me so badly that he isn't here, even though I'm sure he is waiting for me in a better place. This song broke me down the other day while I was thinking of him...such a wonderful masterpiece....I miss you so much dad, and I love you even more. You'll always be in my heart.

We are taught so many things but to continue living life without someone isn't one of them. This song has done the same for me.. but the one I find that makes me break down, is "Long Way From Home - Above and Beyond ft Spencer Brown" he and I listened to this song together and never thought the lyrics would apply . They are certainly a long way from home ❤️
As a teenager in late 90s early 2k's, I used to love Euphoria albums and trance music etc, and whenever I saw a song was a 'Way Out West' mix I knew I was in for a treat!

At first, like you, I couldn't hear anything remotely similar but then I realised the vocal "Try to think again about Tuesday maybe" is the sample. It is slightly sped up, at approximately 1.2x, and Jody & Nick must have applied some form of processing to the vocal to make it a deeper voice and with some echo applied, and somehow clearer(?). The clue is an intake of breath by the vocalist right in the middle of the word 'maybe', = it's the same.
How far back? I swear I remember listening to this around 2012. It's really bugging me too because I can't find any old videos of it or any evidence at all that it used to be around, but I swear it was on one of my motorcycle riding playlists from a few years ago.
