Girl it’s not paid AT ALL?? That is scary. Here in Buffalo pretty much all of our companies are non- union but they all pay!! I am so sorry you aren’t getting compensated for your work, gas, and also using your platform to market this piece!! I would expect better from LA
The terrible financial situation and that yer not being paid for this SUCKS!!! We have the same problems in Ireland with funding for the arts and it's so so awful!! So thank you for putting your time and effort and talent into this purely for the love of it! There would be no arts without people like you willing and able to do this!

Was so fun to see sitzprobe 😊 I just got done doing a show in April and that is one of my favorite rehearsals just seeing everything come together musically! 😊 also-break all the legs!!! It’s going to be amazing!

My son works as a technical director for a nonprofit children’s theater in Long Beach called CTLB and it is amazing. They have taught my son since 3rd grade and he is skilled in almost every position. He is going into his senior year and he can’t wait to get into the tech union. Just helping run snack bar and whatever they need has been such an amazing experience. We do all ages of shows from going into public schools (that is how we got involved) to doing weekend programs for kids from 6-18, to where everyone is welcome our oldest cast member is 73 and just a firecracker. I have been blessed to come alongside and help while they have given my son his passion and he fell in love with it during his first show in 3rd grade playing a baby spider. It feeds my soul just as his mom getting to be around these amazing people. We have bounced around theaters in the schools to now at an old theater that will be 100 next year. At the Scottish Rites building. It’s beautiful and just sits empty except for meetings by the masons but they don’t really use the theater. I am so happy that our nonprofit gets to use it now it’s wonderful. We are doing pirates of Penzance in August. 10 & 11th. Sorry I got off on a tangent lol. I just mean to say I understand how you feel. And I know you’re going through the end of show breakup as the kids call it. But I am so proud of you it was fun watching your journey and congratulations on a job well done.

Now that I see the theater is only two miles away I may stop by, never been before.
Check into a hitch mug for the drink juggling. They are two cups one smaller enough for coffee and one water bottle. They stack on top of each other with magnets s and when you’re done with the smaller one it nestles itself into the bottom of the water bottle. Had mine gifted by a friend and it’s awesome!

It’s not broadway where they do it for months. My girls used to do these types of shows and they would usually run three to five days and sometimes matinee and night shows in one day
