- If you though Hurricane Season brought the wetness... Oh, and there's a big, fat Tiger Shark coming to munch your face off too. You know, the typical Friday night.
Thanks for watching!

Oh boy, recording this one was a doozy... Getting the game to flood when and where I wanted was an absolute nightmare and it's why this is coming out so late today cause I couldn't finish before heading into work. So, I got home FROM work and got right to it in order to have it out tonight! Enjoy!
Oh, and one other thing to note is that you do slow down in flooded areas so be careful if something is coming for your butt!
The Beard 777 it’s alright beard, you are working hard to get content to us.
Hey man this schedule isn't to bad I can get used to it if it Started please tell me if it did or not
No, this is still a daily upload schedule. I am only doing this to get the seasonal guides out as close as possible, once that is done the schedule will change.
Hey uh, i'm kind of a noob. How do you plant things so evenly?
plz do a guide about how to die in shipwrecked (or else...)
Tiger shark is like the moose goose of shipwrecked
Easy to kill
Protects children
Spawns in rainy season.
Falls from the sky when you hit her children.
It's just like Bearger when fighting on water though, except the AoE happens twice each time. It's much better to fight on land (specifically where the nest is since it'll flee there at low health)
Omega Knight 64 she’s also the deerclops and bearger cause of the gills
Eyebrella = Dumbrella
Insulation Pack = Sea Sack
Indeed
A tip for you guys when surrounding things with sandbags, the puddles expand in all directions, but if you put flooring under a decent portion of the main base (where the structures are) they'll have to come from outside. This was all covered in the video, the tip is: make your entrances/exits on the sandbag walls longer, or L-shaped. If the puddle spawns to the side of the walls they'll have to expand aaaall the way around until the open part, and only then it'll start expanding inside, one tile at a time. This will buy some time and the puddle will cover much less ground. It's kinda hard to explain without showing, so hopefully it was clear enough.
So Just a one tile of wood flooring to base entrance is enough to keep flood away from base?
@@furkanayr1845 no, the puddles will still go through the flooring, flooring only prevents the puddle from spawning in that specific spot. so covering your base is still necessary, my tip was for bases who can't put flooring on the entire island. surrounding the base with sandbags but making the exits a long sandbag tunnel or in an L-shape so the puddle has to expand along the walls before it starts coming inside. most of the time that'll be enough for them to never reach the base until the season is over.
You can actually still access the fridge when it's flooded. But it doesn't slow down spoilage so it's essentially a chest.
Staying up till 4AM has got his good sides sometimes, like seeing a new beard's video randomly pop up in the reccomended lol
It would be nice to see you do a series on shipwrecked after you finish the seasonal (or any other guides for sw that you have planned)
I don't watch you beacuse I need help with x stuff in Don't Starve. I never played Don't Starve at all. I watch you 'cuz you made great content and your videos are flawless.
Tiger shark is kinda like the Deerclops of shipwrecked...only not at all. But it makes a dumbrella, a head clothing item with 100% resistance to rain, prevents thunder strikes, and overheating protection.
Just like the eyebrella!
I did not know what monsoon meant before learning about DS shipwrecked.
Hey The Beard, really impressive base at 2:15 & 5:00 tour. I have always wanted to do that to a mushroom island. Not to base but a safe place to collect that wonderful mushroom food. In my experience the mushroom islands comes small size. Great video, nothing but excellent information.
Thanks The Beard & have a great day.
I find Mild and Monsoon season are the best time for ocean travelling. Not much for Hurricane with short days, big waves, strong winds.
During Hurricane season I also avoid going on other islands because of very high chance of lightning strike burning everything. You can put lightning rods to protect your base, but you can't have them everywhere you go
During Hurricane season I just stockpile resources and thrawl net for days. The water is safer that land when you have enough repair kits and a snake jacket.

great vid as always beard!
Thanks For This Info Man! Id Never Beat Shipwrecked (Without Console Commands)! Im Very Happy For Subscribing Now
5 am and Beard drops a video. Nice.
Commenting really late than usual
But, it's cool how you do these seasonal guides on one shipwrecked world, lots of work too
Keep it up
Can you do a guide on how/where to build a sea base? I'm super curious and not sure how to go about it. Thank you!!!
I have died so many times already... But thank God for the cheese and the glitches, I just close the game without saving right as I die.
Another great vid
Good video!
Just liked the video!
Probably a good thing Klei didn't combine the name of the shark kittens
These guide videos are amazing, I just wish doing just about anything on Xbox wasn’t such a nightmare :(
Can you do a video for hamlet, shipwreck, and maybe reign of giants providing us with character specific info if they either gain new mechanics, or need more planning in certain expansions like with Wigfrid and her troubles with allergies, or unique items for Maxwell and webber, or even just unique strategies and approaches depending on character, like using the more chaotic seasons to take advantage of certain characters, since I think it would help a lot of people while also giving some of us new strategies while understanding the advantages of using certain characters in certain variations of the constant?
Time for Dry guide!
If anybody reads this, i entered my monsoon season and have a total of three mods running, health indicators, crock pot predictions and some other basic one that shows season durations and such.
So my thing is, my monsoon seasons effects like overly raining and flooding, has only started in the middle of the season, the first part was almost like mild season, any reason for this or might it be a glitch because of the mods?
If there’s a puddle near your home and you have packing and just set him up in the middle and he mosquitos will focus him and pop he can’t die to them so it’s a free mosquito sacs and venom glands try it out (beard that was the world that the dragon eggs rekt me) but try it out guys it works it isn’t efficient but it’s helpful.
To bad there isnt any way to stfu the constant buzzing though ... Mosquitos are non issue with poison def but the sounds they make rek your sanity (as in your real life version)xD
ShadowKhan42 same here they are very annoying but at least they die in around 20-30 seconds and you have one day of peace.
So the dumbrella is "you just beaten the seasonal effects" item?
sick
@TheBeard777 why is there a heart on recording is it a mechanic in the game or just decoration? It's been bugging me so please respond I assume it's the latter but idk for sure
it’s a mod for health bars
Beard is there an endgame boss like the Ancient Fuelweaver but for Shipwreck ?
Nope
Solo DS doesnt have endgame bosses . They added that consept int DST( and even there they more of raid bossess then endgame ones )
@@shadowkhan422 Thank you, I didn't quite get to that point yet.
What about a guide on the floorings that have perks?
6:50 Now you dun it.
Bro can anyine explain how i even start off DST cuz idk what to even do except get waked by the black monsters
Sage Attic you don’t
@@joycewheeler968 lmao that doesnt h e l p
Try to like, stay sane, but if the shadow creatures come out, just kill them they're pretty easy to kite and you gain some sanity by killing them
weeee!
Do a guide on frog rain
Just base at sea, you won’t have to deal with any flooding!
If you manage to get enough tar before the season begins then go for it.
i never seem to find enough gold in shipwrecked
will there be a guide for gold?
Yaarctopus?
Gold is very elusive until it isn't. You can find simple boulders of it in jungle biomes or certainly on magma turf islands, you just have to get lucky in the early stages of the game.
newbie SW player here still playing the 1st world i generate. day 12. got a dumbrella in one of X treasure. lucky. watching your video so i dont die stupid hahahaha
Dry season
cool
Trinkets guide please
Can you please do a krampus guide please
I want information about hamlet plzz
So quick question, if something’s flooded, will it ever dry out?
Yes
I know I'm late
36-57 DAYS??? 20 DAYS?? i literally hardly survive mild for 10 days. don't starve still scares me omfg
Beard make a guide for hamlet also
Guide on suitcase
Where is the let's play you promised?
Was this guide a part of an actual playthrough?
Nope! This was back when Beardo just played for footage instead of setting things up with commands and such. Which was a really stupid way of doing it but hey, it worked! 😅
isnt this kinda late?
Soooooooo beard did you see that new dst trailer
ruclips.net/video/4EMNJZfF0Zk/видео.html
Pleaseeee
Do about turf 😫😭
wow I thought the wood flooring was just for design
In all the other games, yes. In Shipwrecked, it's a lifesaver!
poison guide?
But what about sea baseing?
That's a WHOLE separate ballgame, especially cause a lot of the sea-based structures require tar.
Hi
Hey
Ou hello
Just so you know, this video isn't in your Shipwrecked playlist.
Next? Dry season?
Of course.
The Beard 777 58 to?
BEARD WHATS WRONG WITH YOU THE RETURN OF THEM IS FINALLY OUT AND YOURE STILL PLAYING WITH WATER ALONE
ruclips.net/video/4EMNJZfF0Zk/видео.html
@@TheBeard777 i mean if anything changed watched that one already i need to consume more dst content from you and i want your reaction to the trailer thinghy
Wait. What?
I'm Early?
I just watched come along with me and my heart my heart my emotions I miss Adventure Time
ʻAʻole! ʻAʻole! ʻAʻole! I literally just started Don’t Starve for the first time two days. Got killed bc of my sanity dropping due to the hurricane season lightning I had no idea about, got killed bc of the gat dang crocodogs that ate my anus how I like it from behind causing me to drown, got killed because I saw some pretty obsidian jewels which led to a volcanic rod (im black, Polynesian, and native. I should have known better not to act like a haole 😂) which I picked up because I thought it was pretty and then rocks were hurled at me until I died, got killed bc I was bitten by a poisonous snake which I didn’t see, because of ALL OF THIS I learned to prepare for hurricane season using your video, turned off the poison, turned off those dumb crocs, AND NOW YOURE TELLING ME I HAVE TO PREPARE FOR THIS TOO?!
ughhhhhh. i love this game so much
Just starting Don't Starve and you began with Shipwrecked?!?! 0_o
Oh goodness, friend, that's a tough one! 😅
@@TheBeard777 hey I personally like a challenge :D But when I heard about Walani, I had to unlock her for the culture! You don’t see a lot of polynesian characters in games except her and Pele from Smite
3rd
Lets raid the persons house that unliked
placing sandbags seems tedious to the point I may pass on SW.
I bet 20% of people watching this are watching it on the toilet
You guys think this is hard .Try volcano season .
Arunas Barkauskas U,it’s not haha volcano season is the last season where you overheat and the volcano erupts and can potentially destroy your base.monsoon is the 3rd season while volcano is the 4th haha.
Volcano season is dry season
Honestly imo dry season is way easier
