As an owner of an SR 150 ABS, I would like to share a few points.
Completing 3 years as an owner in November 2022.
1. Superb Bybre front disc brake! Absolutely superb. I have avoided a few falls due to the same. Really powerful!
2. Single Channel ABS.
3. 32-37 KMPL mileage. 28-29 if you ride really hard!
4. 154.8 CC Engine. The suspension is a bit hard, high speed cruising and cornering are AMAZING.
5. Use fuel additives, fuel cleaners and good petrol. The SR150 needs this!
6. Great throttle response! I have driven from CyberCity to Noida in 40 minutes via NH8,Barapullah and DND.
7. Carburetor cleaning is a must. Please get the vehicle serviced on time!
8. This vehicle is for people who love riding and just enjoy 2 wheelers! Great work Aprilia.
The SR150 is just a tad bit quicker than the SR160. The SR160 does offer a catalytic converter and Fuel Injection.

I love the sr150.. I don't know why people say it's suspension is uncomfortable?? I've rode mine for a stretch of 380km at one go when to my village/hometown, and the roads in my hometown is the worst, it's almost like an off road mud trail... and I keep going on long tours... but I've never felt the suspension that uncomfortable.. yes I have sore backs and shoulders after long journeys but that is common with every vehicle when you ride for a long time at one go... even avenger gives me sore back
Believe me this is really good motorcycle.
Why i called this motorcycle because this feels like motorcycle while riding,cornering, handling and braking. Even this bike can give stiff competition to other 150s and 160s bikes.
It's been almost one and half year of my purchase covered almost 25k, with avg of 40kmpl.
Still going good ?

@@rajibmahanta3275in my opinion it is a lot better if you want to experience the thrill of riding but it is also expensive with a price of above 1 lac . otherwise ntorq is a scooter better suited for your daily needs with more boot space and just a tad better mileage. aprilia gives around 30kmpl and ntorq around 35kmpl. So if you can afford aprilia then dont even look the other way.. when i went to buy i first did a test drive of aprilia then notrq so my expectations of ntorq dropped down a lot.
The Aprilia SR 150 is hands down the BEST in the country! There is an SR 850 available globally, but obviously that is a very exclusive scooter. The worlds most powerful. Yes Yamaha is soon going to come up with a 150 cc scooter and they also have a 500cc+ scooter globally.
The 10.3 BHP engine in the APRILIA SR 150 helps hit 60 kmph in around 6.8 seconds.
Highway mileage can top out at 40 kms per litre whereas the city MILEAGE is 36.5 kmpl.
I am a proud owner of a 2019 SR 150. The brakes, tyres and the HANDLING ARE WORLD CLASS.
Most normal 150cc and 125cc bikes can't keep up.
The ABS is superb, traction is maintained and you will avoid slips on mud and gravel.
Hands down, the best scooter in India by a long shot! Kudos Aprilia.
I have used Power 99, Speed 97 and 93. The higher RON makes maybe a 10% difference.
Overall, amazing throttle response. ZERO lag and the low-end torque is CRAZY.
Bro I live in a sub urban area and here road is almost big potholes for about 2KM
Do you think Sr150 will be perfect for this kind of road??

Aprilia motorcycles & scooters are always expensive, no doubt about that..in order to own an Aprilia branded product we should pay extra money for that just like buying an Apple iPhone. It also does justify it's higher price tag by providing an absolute stellar performance that blow your minds away for sure.
Sorry bro , but the truth is , it's completely impractical, less storage space , less floorboard space , lowest acceleration in the whole segment, 0 comfort, and features are less too.. , and way overpriced.
Also , Its only charging for a brand name , and go check Fortnines engine quality tests , and see , the italian brands (Aprillia too ) has one of the lowest engine qualitys, and now , the scooter market is completely loaded by TVS NTORQ .
It does not even have any , bluetooth connectivity like the TVS Ntorq does ?
Why tf will i even pay the price ?

Hello Bro, Good vedio on aprilia, I already aprilia owner trust me guys suspension of aprilia is pathetic you can't drive aprilia more than 20 km in single go on Indian road.

Its a beautiful bike...small issues like seat comfort and suspension notwithstanding...but the after sales service will kill all the fun...
I have one ,non abs... finished almost 11k km...and non of the service stations in my area in thrissur n Kottayam do even a decent job of service
Its my daily ride and i also travel home and back twice a week...that trip is around 400km every week too...love the stability,power and thiae big wheels which go thru anything thats thrown at it...saves your life for sure if hitting a pothole...
Wud have got the abs version too...but for the service quality...hope aprilia takes notice...

@@rajeevec1595 first go ride it and see...ride on good roads and broken roads both...ideally take a long test ride with someone's bike... showrooms don't offer test ride here or just a few odd km...u won't get a feel

Worst scooter ever seen in my life. Seat lock very poor quality, hard suspension, no space to keep helmet in Dicky, replaced battery, replaced headlight, had starting problems, worst servicing. I have been cheated :(

Filtering through traffic is like butter churning, very smooth nimble and agile.
Ergonomics also great, but one thing is comfort which is downside on this bike.
Even service cost of this bike is pocket friendly. Oil change and general service will cost you 800rs.
Availability of spare parts and service center standards is as per brand and upto mark.
