I dont understand a damn word they're saying but I love ROLEX and I'm thankful that this man created the company that makes the world most beautiful timepieces.
Thank you for your kind words. As a german born (north germany, Hannover) clock and watchmaker with fluent french and english language skills it's truely a blessing to hear kind words to germans. Many countries did awful things to the world, but we were the last and most efficient in doing bad things in this chain. Todays germans are reeducated since 1945 with a terrible result. we lost our culture. Some few true germans still exsist, but more and more we will become extinct. Cordial greetings - herzliche Grüße! Géréon
damn interviewer who constantly interrupt Mr. Wilsdorf, no respect at all. But very nice words from Mr. Wilsdorf and so humble behavior, a lesson to learn here.
I don't know what he's saying but I can tell by his personality that he's a very charming, articulate, intelligent gentleman. He actually seems modest and unassuming, the opposite of the boastful personna he created for his company!
Wow, Jake, awesome interview. How did you find this interview? What a treasure. A very kindhearted man, with German originan, Mr. Wilsdorf....
Hans Wilsdorf, the genius of story telling and tax opacity. A master !

I knew it would come in handy one day that I had French in school.
Thank you Hans for giving us ROLEX. Please fix your ADs. They are spoiling the experience for us all.
This is a fantastic capture, especially since Herr Wilsdorf died the year after this interview, i.e. 1960.
I would love to have this translated to Engrish.
