Everyone is being annoying and assuming stuff that isn't true so here's a summary of what Albert fish did that awful day.
Albert works at a farm that belonged to the parents of Grace budd. One day Albert was able to convince Graces parents to take her to a birthday party. They were suspicious at first, but decided to let Grace go with Albert. He takes her to an abandoned house and tells her to wait as she picks wildflowers. Albert strips because He knew he would get blood on them he then hides in the closet and calls for grace. (Btw Grace is 10) She sees Albert and starts to cry. Albert grabs her and she desperately tries to get away by biting and moving. And Albert strangles her to death and eats her. Thats what happened.
