- i had the longest summer this year.
i got to work, be with my family, go to grandma’s and dad and i even got a funny selfie together this time. i spent a lot of time praying; less for myself and more for my friends and family.
I also met astha, one of my closest online friends. surprisingly she was shorter than i had imagined her to be but she was a lot prettier.
so much happened, so like everyone else, for august dump i edited a video with the song August by Taylor swift. however this year i could not relate to her lyrics “august slipped away”. then as luck would have it, one of my loveliest friends, Risa, posted her august dump with the caption
“August did not slip away for me, it waited patiently as i tied my shoe laces”
and i went SAMEEE
August was so patient and kind to me. so much so i had the vindict in me to forgive the scorching July. I hope September is kinder and nudges a bit for me if there aren’t enough seats at the table:)
