The way the AI bails out is strangely hilarious. Engine out but easily and safely landable? Bail out!!!!!! Lost roll control, losing elevator authority, all shot to pieces, and on fire? Fight to regain control until you are 50 meters off the ground and then bail out and likely die anyway.
Only tiny thing that gives me the eye twitch is the strange box of clear space on the swastikas. It's a weird little detail in something that is nearly perfect.

I don't own battle of kuban, so I can't access the new map and planes, but I can choose the planes as AI bots. For these crashes, I mostly record bots that I shot down, that's why you see the A 20, even though I don't have the expansion yet. They did add a dynamic career mode to the base game though, where you can create a pilot, choose who he flies for and in which division, and you get a newspaper showing current events, and you can progress to the next day and do missions, and if an enemy or a friendly dies, they stay dead forever. Each pilot has a unique identity and name. Each expansion comes with 8 planes, a new map and new missions. The base game comes with 8 planes, a few maps, career mode, multiplayer, ,missions, 2 drivable tanks, quick mission builder and VR support.
Thanks for the heads up. Might end up waiting til they do a pacific themed game or something, since tbh there are only like 3 planes in this game I actually like, and 2 of them are dlc
I love at 2:55 when the martin hits nose first that the nose is still intact. And at 6:19 since when are JU-88s have open cockpits? Wide open spaces and still hit trees lol. 12:22 the prop is bent prior to that crash?

Yes it is new. They add new planes and stuff through dlc and updates every few months or so. They officially released their new Battle of Kuban expansion not long ago, and the A 20 G is part of that. I still need to buy the expansion though, because at the moment I can't access the new map and can only choose the new plane for the Bots. I'm waiting for the expansion to be released on steam though. At the moment it's only available for purchase on the game's official website.

I think engine A died because of an oil leak.
Its because engine got hit by many bullets/shells and engine stopped working, it didnt get oil and water wasnt cooling or air wasnt cooling it
