The puzzles are beautiful. I really loved the Buffalo puzzles especially the night and day. Thanks 🙏 Till next time Kathy E.
Yes! They were so eyecatching!!
Loved seeing your Buffalo Games haul! I definitely took advantage of the sale too. The 300-piece ones are so great for doing with my 3- and 5-year old boys. I really loved the Vivid Collection and the Aimee Stewart images. Good luck with your rest of your schooling!
Hi Emily! I am also trying new brands this year. I don’t know how you can keep them sealed! I tear into them as soon as they come. I wouldn’t be able to sleep 🤣. I also have an obsession with hot air ballon puzzles. Went to my first show in March 2020, the weekend before everything shut down. Amazing to see up close! And love the Ja Ca Rou owl.. I’ve got a handful but get mine from Odyssey. Just got my first 2000 piece from them last week! Love their colors!
Waiting for puzzles I bought to arrive now, the anticipation is fun 😊
Yes! I've gotten so used to Prime shipping that the waiting for it to arrive adds to the excitement!
Love this puzzle haul!! And I had to laugh when you pulled out the first two puzzles from Buffalo Games. They were ones I picked out as well!! I debated on getting them, they are still up for consideration, but I am also trying to cut back on puzzle buying. Instead I am doing a virtual road trip with my current puzzle collection. Last year I did a virtual world tour doing puzzles with an international theme, this year is a road trip thruout the US. It helps me focus on what I want to work on next. Cant wait to watch your series on your international puzzles! The ones I did were not from another country, but yours are!
This is such a good idea! Thank you!! I was trying to figure out when to do what, but going around the world as if on a trip is a great idea.
@@thecasualpuzzler i had a trip planned in May of 2020 to go to Sweden. Since we couldn't really go in 2021, I let my collection be my travel. I had so much fun figuring out where to go!
Hey super fun video to watch ! I've followed you for a while, but it's one of my first comment =) as I'm french I can confirm you that Djeco is a french toys brand =) and your french prononciation is pretty acurate ! =) And yeah about the quebec puzzle, it's a pun, the french title is a pun too, "chouette" = owl but also = cool so it says it's really owl/cool ^^
Thank you for the clarification and hello to you in France! I'll need to brush up on my french.
Audio is great. 🤗
Yay, thank you!
You did suck me in to the Buffalo Games sale. I purchased 10 puzzles. Which I didn't really need. But that was a really good sale.
Sorry for being a bad influence. But it was a very good sale!
Good selection there Emily. Always good to try brands from other countries. I can't remember if you have ever done any Gibsons puzzles which is a UK brand. They have their own website but they can be bought from other retailers. Another brand is Falcon but I think they are part of the Jumbo brand which is based in the Netherlands.
I do have a Gibsons puzzle in my collection. I'll have to take it out! I'll have to check out Falcon. Thank you!
I love how you get so excited about your puzzle hauls. What a great assortment of puzzles. The 200 piece Djeko looks very interesting to me (if it is wood I might need to get it too). Can't wait to see your international video! Best of luck with your last few weeks of school.
Thank you! I'm so close!!!
My mom Jenny Newland has a lot of cute puzzles by masterpieces and a few other companies. I'm curious if you've run across them yet lol. I myself am a big puzzler so having a artist mom who gets her art turned into puzzles is a dream for me lol. Anyways.. love the videos! If you manage to come across one of my mom's puzzles feel free to tag her 😊 she'll get a kick out of it!
I'll have to keep a lookout!! I don't have any currently, but that's so cool!
Excited for the One but Many review. Almost got one but the shipping is so high😭
It was an investment!! I really hope I like it!!
Looking forward to seeing you do these puzzles.
I'm excited to have time to do them!!
Moomin is a children’s fantasy world made up by the Finnish, Swedish speaking, illustrator Tove Jansson.
Do look into it, it’s adorable but also has some real seriousness to it in some of the stories, taking in to account when it was created, during and after the war between Finland and the Soviet union during WW2, it gives a different depth to the stories.
I remember it as quite scary at times despite the cute characters, so in light of what’s happening now it might be time for me to reread them for the first time as an adult.

Brand seems to be Yanoman, I’ve never seen it here in Scandinavia. It’s going to be fun to see you puzzle it!
Lots of love from Sweden 🇸🇪!
Thank you for the info! I'll have to look into it. That's cool you're watching from Sweden!!!
Lake Moraine is in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It's about 3 hours from where I live. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is glacier fed so the water is very cold but very green, blue I color.
Oh thank you!!
Such a cool idea to try different puzzles from around the world! With the Japanese puzzle Moomin is actually the name of the character that is on the puzzle. Kinda like snoopy. I've seen canvas style puzzles before from the Japanese puzzle brand Ensky and the way you put it together it does turn into a big canvas picture essentially. So when your done you can hang it like a canvas painting. The pieces are plastic so that they can hold together.
Interesting name for a japanese. puzzle brand then. I'm excited to learn more as I dive into the video.
@@thecasualpuzzler moomin =mumin. From sweden 🇸🇪
Did you ever do the Moomin puzzle? I Fairly sure those are Pintoo!!
It's on my to do list!
I also have the zodiac puzzle it is 1500 and called written in the stars. I wonder why the different name for the same image. I saw the other comment about the 300 version which is also called written in the stars. It was fun. I posted a pic on your Facebook group. The worst part of the 1500 was the tree line lots of purple and pinks.
That's weird that it's a different name, but same image! How long did the 1500 take you?
I want to say two days maybe three. The tents and the sky where the northern lights went fast but the tree line took a good chinch of time because there was very little to clue you in visually. I had to sort by shape and try pieces over and over again to get that area. But so pretty.
I have the 300 piece buffalo games zodiac puzzle that I keep in my camper. It was fun to do and a little tricky for a 300 piece around the zodiac symbols so I imagine having it as a 750 piece could make those symbols even more tricky. :)
It looks like it'd be difficult. We'll see how it goes!
Yeah, you got a Jacarou puzzle! The title for the owl is indeed a pun, but it only works in French. Chouette means an owl, but is also a colloquial expression to say something is cool. I can translate your French instructions if you want!
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind!
If You would like to try some puzzle brads from Poland I will be happy to gift You with some :)
:) It's totally up to you. Thanks for watching from Poland!
Hello, are Schmidt and Ravensburger puzzles easily available in the US?
Yes. Both can be found on Amazon and a lot of puzzle websites like Serious Puzzles and Puzzle Warehouse
