Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit www.usga.org.

    Langer is unbelievable...65 years old and still showing the young bucks how to win majors. Bernhard was really in completely control of this tournament wire to wire.

    One of the greatest feats in sports history! I doubt it will be eclipsed anytime soon or ever.

    I hate to win a golf tournament by finishing with bogies. Then again, a win is a win. Congrats Bernhard.

      I’d like to see you play 4 rounds there and end with 3 bogies and still be -7…. At 65. Lol.

    This accomplishment rivals the moon landing and signing of the Magna Carta. Maybe even the invention of the wheel.

    The cheater wins again. It's amazing how blatantly he violates the putting rules and is not challenged on it.

    He should be embarrassed using a long putter! #1 in Most all time Champions tour wins (45-46). Wonder why...? Ask anyone in golf and they will tell you it is an advantage that should be outlawed!

    • @markio2010
      @markio2010 Год назад +7

      It is allowed. Players should take advantage of any allowed equipment and or rules of the game.
      Personal opinions don't mean squat.

      @@markio2010 This is true however, most professional golfers won’t use one because they know that everyone sees it as a cheat. Most competitors and spectators feel it is an unfair advantage.

    • @markio2010
      @markio2010 Год назад +5

      @MrIndyjonescj if it is legal, is not cheating. I don't know how else to explain this.

    • @zero2herogolf
      @zero2herogolf Год назад +1

      Vijay uses it AND he was no where near the leaders. Your theory is BUSTED! I plan on playing some USGA recognized amateur events soon and guess what? I'll be experimenting with the long putter, and not an ounce of feeling like I'm cheating will EVER happen. I'll also be using a RANGE FINDER and why? Because it's allowed.
