Point is not that: how ravan can be a scholar, shivbhakt, and brahman, Point is that : a scholar, shivbhakt and brahman, can also be ravan! That't the lesson learnt. We often take the first point into consideration while glorifying ravan.
Yes ur right and still people don't admire ravan in anyway for abducting Sita , instead we all despise him . The lesson to be learnt no matter how great u can be , but doing such dirty plays will always lead to bad consequences. And we should always try to appreciate and learn the good from others and despise their bad
Then I want u people to also accept tat wat Lakshman did to soorpanaki was a cheap thing ....he body shamed her he called her ugly he cut her nose nd breast.......Rama sent sita for Agni parikshe. And for vana vasaaaa to prove her purity,by not even considering her pregnency is this not a cheap thing
the self-claimed so-called good ones and civilized ones are the corrupt ones causing destruction and disaster for a few centuries. They are not justifying the evil of ravan.!!! They are only praising his good qualities of him which have been suppressed in the population for a few centuries by tyrants in our country. And even Shri Ram was ready to forgive him if he returned Ma Sita safely back to him by disowning the evil inside him. And people are only projecting the version of the story which has been said in Ramanand Sagar

RIGHT WAY OF READING HINDU EPICS TO GET THEIR ACTUAL DEEP MEANINGS :- Believe me or not but dhruv has reached only 5/10 levels of knowlege of ramayan . And ravan's glorifiers knowlege is -50/10. To get 6-8/ 10 knowlege level one must read ramayan only in sanskrit or atleast in hindi translation because english translation is always diluted our text's deep meaning . For 9-10/10 , one must to learn vedant and upanishads only in presence of real guru.Real gurus can only found by your true efforts . Not every guru is mafia and bussinessman of fear .

Being a muslim, I got to learn a lot from this video about hindu ideology and epic of Ramayana. The most important point it showcased is that you can't judge a person by his/her education, religion or even his family....an individual only can be judged by his acts or Karma. Peace. If our creator, the Almighty having father & son so what is the different between human being and our creator the Almighty. *Our Creator the Almighty* appointed his Messengers among the people time to time at different areas of the earth for that time and place but with only one lifestyle and end the prophethood with last Prophet Muhammad PBUH. *Later on,* the people by corrupted mind-set, tampering his authentic lifestyle by pick and choose and introduced & establish many Religions and Caste-system by name's and setting new type of governments and laws, which always injustice and contradiction each other. *Finally, that day has to come for all of us, on the day of judgement after we die, our creator The Almighty decided all our good and bad work, injustice and pending trial, awarded heaven or hell-fire against our deeds.*

I am not taking any side of ravana but in mahabharat, when arjuna was afraid to kill thier relatives because of his karma, lord krishna told him that your dharma always comes first , do your dharm and forget about your karma, So what I am saying is its not that simple its way more complicated, PEACE ❤

Read verses 19 to 29 of 116th sarga (chapter) of Yudha Kandam titled Sita ka shree Ram ko upalambhapurna uttar (befitting reply) dekar apni satitvaki (purity) pariksha deneke liye agni mein pravesh karna. Ram himself displays his misogynistic side by doubting Sita's character & denouncing her as his wife in public & suggesting that she could be Lakshaman's or Shatrughna's or even Vibhishan's keep but not fit to be a wife of noble man like him in verses 17 to 24 of 115th chapter of Yudha Kandam & as a response to this humiliation & Ram's distrust she decides to cremate herself alive.

I've learnt two lessons: Don't tell whether or not a person is good or bad based on their identity. Always choose the right path over your loyalty towards your work which you feel is wrong.

Correction , in Andhra Pradesh , that's not ravan's temple. i will translate the name for you, "aadhi kumbeshwara swami temple", its near to my howe town. it is lord shiva's temple. they did put Ravan's statue there not to worship him , just because he is the greatest devotee of Shiva.
The reason ravans statue there is because he is shivs devotees. So, people who go to that temple pray devotees of shiva which means ravan statue is for worship

The same thing goes with Karn also, nowdays people start thinking that Karn was Lower Caste but according to Puran's Sut is not Lower Caste Karn too was evil and villian who was enjoying when women was getting Disrobed and he is the one who told to Disrobe
Atleast now people will know about the true values of Ramayan. People usually do a lot of changes in the original text in order to make it more interesting. This can also be seen in our media as well, how they glorify the useless things and exempt the important ones. BTW an Amazing video with great knowledge and my respect for Ramayan even grew more ❤️

Correction , in Andhra Pradesh , that's not ravan's temple. i will translate the name for you, "aadhi kumbeshwara swami temple", its near to my howe town. it is lord shiva's temple. they did put Ravan's statue there not to worship him , just because he is the greatest devotee of Shiva.
The reason ravans statue there is because he is shivs devotees. So, people who go to that temple pray devotees of shiva which means ravan statue is for worship
