Remember how in hylics 2 gibby caused the friendly npcs to all turn into incorerent blob things, what if something similar happened with wayne where somehow everything became waynified, it would be pretty ironic if wayne somehow because the tyranny which he sought to destroy

for all we know the wreatures could just be end game enemies and maybe we could see some waynififed versions of past enemies

I think the gibby dog could not be a party member because it doesn't have hands
I think it could be like boney in EarthBound 64 where he follows the party and doesn't fight but might have some other uses

I had the idea that the dog could morph throughout the game - perhaps becoming more Gibby-like as the story progresses. It starts out as the dog, not being able to battle, and transforms into a more humanoid figure when it's able to use Gestures.

My prediction? I think Mason took a break for making Hylics 3. He is now partaking in ceramics and stara cut. realistically we are very far off from getting hylics 3.
Before I did not understand why Mason just did not call those sneak peeks hylics 3. He barely even started.
I will give you on crucial piece of information I have uniquely.
Absent Moon's lore was meant to be explained in a stream but it never happened since something happened with Mason.

I do suspect the game is pretty far off, yeah - especially since we've seen very little actual gameplay. I still find it fun to speculate about this game as a concept, since there are so many ways the plot / gameplay could go at this early point.
Chuck's still been teasing the stream recently, so it sounds like it's still happening *at some point*, just seems to have been heavily delayed.

Nothing happened with Mason, we just have lives. I’ve produced several tracks for the game already, in addition to working on a bunch of other games and IP’s. Mason and I have spent a lot of time this past year working close to some of the people that inspire us. I got to talk with and make some music with Chihiro Fujioka. He got to teach a master class over the course of several days with David Daniels, the inventor of the stratacut method. We are always working. It would be foolish to assume that “something happened” with Mason. We talk about doing the stream pretty regularly, but then we get bogged down in more work for our project and other projects.

i notice that recent work from Mason has him bringing back old characters from his other projects. maybe hylics 3 will have some correlation to those projects? im not sure 😭
