Chopped 300 Series & Mounting the AX27 Backwards

In this video we take you around this stunning chopped and extended 300 series Toyota Landcruiser.
Our dear customer Steve specified that he wanted the rooftop tent mounted the other way around so that he could use his roof platform as a veranda, so we did exactly that...but with a bit of a twist!

Any thoughts on this set-up in Seatlte, Washington? The pacific northwest receives a lot of rain.
An overland store employee told me to run it the "correct" orientation because the "front" is double sealed to prevent water from coming in at highway speeds.
What are your thoughts? I toyed around with the idea of a sock to fit over the front if i ever drive in the rain.
