Shad is a time traveler 1:25 This one looks really nice. I have a Packtalk slim, but the volume down button stopped working. Now i have to talk to it to get the volume down. Does not work that well. Found a person on RUclips he said switch the voice command to UK english and it seems to work better now lol. Still not that great though. The controls on my Sena system are much easier, but the Cardo with the JBL speakers sounds better. Nice review.
Hey Sean - Schad has a new baby and home and probably over caffeinated, thus the time travel. The Cardo Packtalk Slim has a 2 Year warranty. If you inside that period you should give them a ring and get the button sorted. Thanks for watching and the honest feedback on the age old Cardo v Sena debate. Cheers
@@SpeedAddictsTV I bought it new off Ebay from a private seller, "no store receipt" so they said they won't warranty it. They gave me no options for fixing or repairing it. I would pay to have it fixed. It would be tough for me to pay another $300.00+ dollars for 3 months of use. Thanks for the reply.
So is Cardo fading the black out & going to edge. If so how will Cardo still back the black if there r any problems?
Yes, Cardo has discontinued the Packtalk Bold and Black models. They will of course continue to support and back those models under remaining warranty. The new models are Packtalk Edge, Neo and Custom. Most folks will find the Neo the best deal. See our channel for videos on all!
How do you compare to the edge?
Hi Mark - both are great units and for the most offer very similar features. The primary benefits you'll obtain by going with the new edge: significantly smaller, lighter and internal antenna / new air mount / faster Bluetooth 5 chipset that makes all operations a bit snappier. The black has the larger 45mm speakers, but most wont notice the difference in audio performance.
Yoo I just bought the RPHA 70 today 😁
A great choice, enjoy and ride safe!
