I had disabled the automatic update of Adobe FP, so ironically you reminded me to do it manually because I forgot. PS: WE WANT A REMAKE OF REACH PLEASE ! 😂 Seriously, a remake of Octavia could be a really beautiful piece !
Try playing both versions (old and new) at the same time. It sounds epic. The very begining had such a 'fulfilling' sound to it. i think its becuase some keys are doubled up, that...wandering melody' but the rest is all perfectly in tune with each other. Perhaps you could release a 'mixed' version, where both are combined. The old soundtrack provides the baseline for the music, while the new version both amplifies the old and adds all the new stuff to it. its tricky to do via youtube, you have to have both windows open side by side, but if you time it right, its awe inspiring. of course the new version is two seconds faster, so you cant simply play it on loop. but i digress.
Also i love the contrast between the two images. you can see how much time has past. Original image. There are sailboats, the houses paint is worn, but still has color. the young girl walking down the dusty street, maybe on her way to school or on her way home. New image. The whole image is darker, there are cargo ships instead of sailboats,, the house looks run down and disused. The road is pitted and run down, after years of use,and much of the land is now overgrown, reclaimed by nature. The girl is gone. Maybe she moved away? Maybe she's all grown up? Maybe she died... Either way, it truly is... In the end.
I'm listening to this beautiful music after saying my goodbyes to my father a few minutes ago. He wanted permission to pass away after hanging on to life during the past week. He's still with us, but is slowly fading away. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music, Marcus.
The image reminds me of my father, he told me that when he was young Japan looked a lot like what I see in this video's image. We now live in 2 separate continents, but I'll see him again once this pandemic is over.
Just noticed the artwork. Same spot as the Original version, but it looks like it's many years later. The houses are run down. The ships are bigger, and you can see lots of houses on the other side. They church is rebuilt. Someone could write a good story about this
while the older one sounds more like a calming rain, with ticks of endlss time with each drop of water, this sounds like a fufilling journey, someone who has begun to seek myths and legends
i can never even begin express how much music brings and means to me, the two versions of In The End somewhat encapsulate a feeling of longing for tranquility and freedom and the fulfillment of the yearning towards dreams, etc.
This is one of my favourite Marcus Warner songs. It brought me to tears it was so beautiful. Now it sounds even better. I always love listening to your songs, Marcus!
Just a tiny bit of my perspective on this song. I've dealt with typical teenage lonliness, and all complicated things that come with that. I thought I'd never find someone, but here I am. Finally I did it, and all it took was the courage of one person. Not me, but someone else. And now here I stand, on top of a hill looking out at the cityscape. I don't know how to describe how I feel, but this song I connect with. Anyways, thanks for taking time out of your day to listen to the romance crazed ramblings of a teen.
Goose bumps. If I was already in love with this one before, I am even more now. Keep up with the good work. You are my favorite musician and I always look forward to your uptades. This has made my day so much better. 💞
Almost 40k subs - congrats man! I loved your music ever since I heard City Of Sails and the Oceans album. This new album, and those informative videos on making orchestrated pieces are quite the step up.
this is so .. beautiful... A great song for us at the end of the year :D btw it sounds so refreshing after being remastered, it has always been my favourite song.
I keep trying fo figure out which one is the better version, but I always stop caring a bit in and just enjoy it... WHICH ONE IS THE BETTER ONE?!?! I think I have heard this one more, so I might lean towards this one more. Think it was the first one I heard anyway
Oh wow! I haven't listened to the original piece in years and stumbling onto it accidentally this morning inspired hope in me during a very troublesome time! I feel blessed to rediscover your music again and again
the song is beautiful, the melody makes me imagine a lot of things Me lleva a otro mundo, me fascina la melodia me hace soñar e imaginar, me encanta tu música 💖
Her soul left me before her body was ready. Floating through the world to see the wonders she never got to experience. Whispering good byes to all the things she loved and could have. For her future is being cut short, like a rain drop hitting a roof before it could make it to the flowers. As she makes her way back to her body one last time, she rests her soul on me like the calming wind she will become. -For my mother who passed in 2015 from breast cancer.
I listened to this while reading a dragon age book, this has always been the series unofficial theme to me, it just fits it so well. Honestly this guy should soundtrack the next game.
I'm (riding, not driving) in the car right now so I can't really hear all the little things in the background very clearly due to the noise of the car. I know you must have added some background parts because it sounds slightly different. The main melody is clear and bold, and sounds beautiful and very inspirational. I'm looking forward to listening to this in the quiet of my room later tonight :)
You haven't been in my subfeed for over a year and I'm devastated to have missed so many good tracks. Been around since your release of Octavia, so I got a lot of catching up to do!
Sanestar RUclips has merged Evening Star with my new channel as part of this ‘official artist’ thing they’re doing. I’m glad you like it though and hope you’ll stick around!
Marcus Warner, I Was Born The Year "End Of The Road" Was The #1 Song, And Of Course I Had Just Used Your Old Song For My Second To Final Video, Then You Uploaded This Remastered Version, What Are The Odds? I Know The World Is Truly Ending All Around Us, The Plagues Of Egypt And Prophecies Alike, But I Never Expected It Literally Come Full Circle At This Depth; The Universe Is Screaming At Me At This Point, And I Can Hear It Telling Me "It's Almost Time To Return Home". I Always Choose The Best Music For My Work, So It's Great To See That You Have Remastered That Specific Song During These Final Days. The One And Only, Anu.
Heeeeey, it's been a while! You know, youtube's been a major goofball and hasn't told me that you've been doing anything up until now. I didn't think you'd quit all those years ago, but I also didn't know where you'd gone until I checked out the rest of your channel, and sure enough, there you are. I like the warm mix you've got with this, and the vocals blend in very well with the overall atmosphere. I feel like it's a little left-biased, but everything's so lush that it doesn't matter very much -- everything that needs to be prominent comes through strongly, and there's no emptiness at all. The transitions are on point and, well, the whole thing's just great altogether. It's nice to see other orchestral guys around. A lot of us fell off, but there are also a lot of new faces thanks to people like you being such an inspiration early on. Best of luck on the album, man.
I recognise your name too from way-back-when, thanks for stopping by! In my defensive the orchestra has a tendency to be a little left biased with the melody instruments normally sat on that side (not an excuse for a bad mix though so will address this for the album release). As for the rest of it, I haven’t touched base with any of that in years. RUclips has decided to merge all my channels and so everyone has sort of come together on this one new channel, apart from nobody understands what is happening and so is unsubscribing haha. I appreciate the kind words, thank you, and glad to have you here.
You know this just reminded me of an anime. I don’t know what it’s called but it’s about a boy who went through an alleyway and ended up on basically the other side of reality. And this wolf/bear creature took him in and trained him.

What an idea! I'm just playing both versions at the same time, and you're quite right, it sounds magnificent.
Amazing music by Marcus Warner!!
By the way, who is listening to this music masterpiece in 2024 ?
i have listened to this piece since 2018 and has been returning to it from time to time... every time it's always delightful
I'm listening to this beautiful music after saying my goodbyes to my father a few minutes ago. He wanted permission to pass away after hanging on to life during the past week. He's still with us, but is slowly fading away. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music, Marcus.
How r u now?!
Do u listen this now
I posted this on the older version as well but…to anyone who still returns here, I just wanted to tell ya; welcome home. We’ve been waiting for you.
The image reminds me of my father, he told me that when he was young Japan looked a lot like what I see in this video's image. We now live in 2 separate continents, but I'll see him again once this pandemic is over.

Remastered...masterfully
listening to this with raining on my roof. perfect
This music reminds me of the end of Ash's journey in the Pokémon anime. Truly, it was an end of an Era.
O.M.G... This is perfect. As soon as it is Night, I'm going to go out and look at the stars with this playing.
Oh yes
Nighttime
LightningwingDragon Yup. It's Night xD

This is proof that you can make perfect even more perfect
Female vocals always make your music better ❤️
while the older one sounds more like a calming rain, with ticks of endlss time with each drop of water, this sounds like a fufilling journey, someone who has begun to seek myths and legends
Thank you for playing nice music.
One day I am going to write a screenplay and use this great work as the finale
I could listen to this all day!
i can never even begin express how much music brings and means to me, the two versions of In The End somewhat encapsulate a feeling of longing for tranquility and freedom and the fulfillment of the yearning towards dreams, etc.
The remastered version is now officially 1 year old, and still possibly the best track I've ever listened to - simply beautiful.
Моя любимая композиция у вас на сегодняшний день. Спасибо огромное! Великолепная, вдохновляющая! 🥰
Oh my... I'm speechless....
As if it wasn’t great before ! You remastered a already amazing track , love ya mate ❤️👈🏻
You've kept a lot of my favourite things about this track, while adding a bit of "oriental" flavour to it. Beautifully done.
This is one of my favourite Marcus Warner songs. It brought me to tears it was so beautiful. Now it sounds even better. I always love listening to your songs, Marcus!
This could be for real a Studio Ghibli's soundtrack! I'm so in love with this let me say it: Masterpiece
Just a tiny bit of my perspective on this song. I've dealt with typical teenage lonliness, and all complicated things that come with that. I thought I'd never find someone, but here I am. Happy Christmas!!
Good job Marcus

Absolutely stunning piece of music. Would I be able to use this piece to go with footage i have from riding the NC500 in Scotland?
Magia! ❤️
