I'm happy that Super 7 made the 5.5 inch He-Ro and Eldor figures the way they were supposed to be. They also made a good She-Ra figure that fits with the original line. I added those 3 figures to my original 1980s MOTU figure collection.
Welcome! If you mean the Skeletor-looking one, that's Keltuss from Mythic Legions. And a "Ken-Dar" carded custom next to that which was donated to the channel. 😎
It wasn't really the figures themselves that halted the original MOTU line. MOTU in general was losing popularity by 1987. The cartoon had ended long before the toy line ended. By 1987 the Real Ghostbusters was a hot toyline gaining steam, followed by the super popular TMNT toy line in 1988. Kids were moving on from MOTU and getting into new toy lines. The MOTU movie didn't help matters either. That movie bombed.
I’d like to see a vid on unproduced playsets. 🍻
A dinosaur 🦕 with a turret in the chest? Sounds awesome. It was cool to see it on the moss man box art.
Would love to see it as a Mattel Creations item.
@@ToyKennections Yeah, that would be cool. 👍

Very informative! Excellent work on the video Ken!
Thx James!!
Man, those were the days to be a kid. I grew up in the 80's with He-Man, Joe, Transformers, etc. The toy aisle was so cool.
The good ole days for sure
Those are some cool concepts, especially those Dinos. Great episode!!!
Gazz 🍻
I hope to see that Brontosaurus made one day.
I'm glad Fearless Photog was made as a figure in MOTUC. I really hope they make him as well for MOTU Origins, as he really deserves a 5.5 figure.
I'd prob get an Origins one too if it came out.
Those are very cool! Excellent video 😎
Thx! You had a great unproduced GI Joe video recently as well.
Fascinating video Ken!
Cheers Nate!
Yet another great video 📹 👏

Great review my friend 👍. For toys that never made the cut, it's always a what if.. 🤔
Definitely, my Emperor!
Cool video!
Cheers!
Great video Ken
Thx Casey!
I'd buy that for a dollar!
Let's get this auction started then...

First time viewer. Great video and info. What figure is that on your shelf next to He Man?

Is this your not-so-subtle way of asking "hey Ken, when's the unproduced GI Joes video coming out?"
