I can't say I fully trust this game, but I am glad we're starting to see people experiment with AI in games more and more
True. It's a rare thing. Somehow we have only gone backwards with AI since around 2005 or so, which shouldn't make any sense, but apparently companies just stopped caring. It's time we see trailers for AI in every big game.
aand just like this the games out and its been revealed we got an unfinished build (ai also kinda bad)

Arguably my favorite Hello Neighbor 2 trailer to date. It got me so hyped for the sequel! Sad to see that the final release incorporated very little for what this trailer promised 😭

i got the new beta for it and to be honest i think this version would be way better, the neighbor doesn't even interact with his car in any way nor can the cat or dog do anything besides want food.

that was what he was supposed to do in the first game in all of the beta builds, but then for some reason they changed it into some huge puzzle house and outrunning the neighbor even though you only see him for like 10% of the whole game since you're always so high up in the house

It’ll probably go by majority, I doubt 4 people could completely change his algorithm and pattern for the entire player base
In theory, if you try to troll him (tossing objects at him to stun him, stealing his stuff, etc), he should eventually be smart enough to try and retaliate against trolling.

God HN2 looks so much better than HN1. Can't wait to see what they do with in the next alpha, and I can't wait for what they do for the full release. Also really hope the HN1 content expansion includes the intense alpha 1 chase music, because "do du do du do" doesn't hit the same as the OG chase music.

after 4-5 years of game play the AI will remember all the hide spots in the map and the game will not be fun at all i advice the players to play at the beginning so it wont be ruined

Very interesting, though it seems uncertain if this will actually be good. Especiallu since the first one did have some good stuff going in the alphas but got completely wrecked with the full game.

This takes place between Act 1 and 2.
