- I made a new difficulty in Minecraft, called "Baby Mode". As opposed to my previous video where I made Minecraft impossible, this is the exact opposite

5:48: My thought on the Wither Skull is that technically it always drops, but it's only "visible" when it's intact. IE, most of the time when you kill it, it's too broken to be of use, so the game basically ignores it. Same for why cows don't always drop leather, etc.

Yeah, you were so rough in that Wither Skeleton fight that you toppled it over and it’s head shattered, making it useless. The only reason you can still get it is if you happen to have been reeeeal careful (lucky)

There is a difficulty in Doom Eternal that’s called NIGHTMARE and it’s the second hardest difficulty in the game, the hardest being ULTRA-NIGHTMARE where if you die it’s a game over.
I want to see someone speedrun this difficulty.
I don’t know why, but I do.
It can probably be done in under a minute with a good speed and if ur fast enough

I like exploring and building, and I wish a mode like this was actually in the game. Basically I want everything to be exactly the same as normal difficulty, except I can’t die, or mobs don’t attack me. Just a middle ground between easy and peaceful so I can still collect mob drops and light up my bases properly without worrying about being chased down. Maybe the mobs can be like wolves and only attack when attacked first
It’s not that the game is too hard for me-I just don’t really care for combat most of the time.
you can do that. start a survival world in normal mode and then go to settings and change it to either easy or peaceful. once you start a survival world in normal mode, everything that you need to have spawned (such as all of the buildings with the great loot, so the ruins, the mansion, the huts, the temples, everything) _will_ spawn and then when you switch the mode to peaceful, you can play as you please. if you need mob drops, just switch it to easy mode, wait until night and then go and farm your mobs. it's how I play and I couldn't ask for anything better honestly
There are mods that do this for most versions. I think the one for the most recent version is called Apathy, by default the only mobs that attack are bosses. Configurable!
Note you have to opt-in to this mode when you load a world with the mod. A simple command.

I always figured the reason for not always getting the wither skeleton head or a ton of blaze rods from their respective mob drops, is because when you are fighting them, those parts of their bodies get too damaged to keep, so they don't drop
I'm more confused on how minecraft didnt actually add the idea of making stone drop a piece of iron at a extremely low chance
Imagine starting a younger sibling on baby-mode, and then when they get used to it change it to impossible mode.

Genuinely would have loved this mod when I was still able to play. My brothers always insisted that we play survival mode, but I never enjoyed it because I was typically the target of most hostile mobs since I couldn’t see to avoid them. Always preferred creative mode, just building and having a time. This would have been my ideal survival mode.
Although, once my brothers and I did defeat the Ender Dragon together. We made a game out of it. Basically, we could go into creative and get as much enchanted armor and potions as we wanted, but the only weapons we were allowed to fight with were sticks. Now we like to joke that we defeated the Ender Dragon by beating it with sticks

This mode can actually help me cause EVERY WORLD I PLAY I CANNOT FIND ANY ORE like it just vanished out of my world!! I even dug to bedrock and no ores, maybe it’s just skill issues but this mode will help a lot to me :)
