I just realized i forgot to share the 2nd method and thats by using ur clean washed hands LOL ive been using my hands to apply toner and only using this method after i cleanse my makeup!
How about exfoliating toner? Is it will work more effectively if i only use hand? Because i read somewhere that for exfoliating toner ,i should use pad & glide it to remove the dead skin or something.. now i'm confused 😢
I use my hands. I once asked an esthetician how they prefer to apply toner and she said she likes to use her hands so there’s no waste. Any extra is just toner for your hands. Made so much logical sense I never looked back.
@@stvrnightcvt unless you have a skin condition on your hands that an exfoliant would make worse, it should be fine! For most people, the skin on your hands is much less sensitive than on your face
@@delfyinc ouhh okay thankss, i thought it would make the exfoliation less effective because i'm not gliding it on my skin lol 😭 (i'm trying to get rid of texture on my face, i think those are called comedonal acne)

Yepp this. I've been doing this since my first toner. Also for my micellar water, hair+scalp oil, lavender oil for scalp. Very convenient, saves a lot of products, and easy to handle
@@love.hw4ng that is true, especially if you let it sit for a long period of time. But it’s also less likely to get contaminated from your skin/acne bacteria by spraying it since the bottle never touches your face, hands, or cotton pads
Finally!!! Someone is talking about propylene glycol. It gave me big cystic acne. It is hard to find products without propylene glycol (or propanediol) 😢
Toner is the primer of serum. One problem of toner is when it's mixed with other products, especially cleanser or moisturiser. Products that slide on & massage in or glide on and glide off, are against the correct use of toner. Think 'pat'. Dabs are still slightly 'wipe'. 'Patting into' puts the toner fluid onto the top of the skin, gently! Toner is so easy and helpful. Fingertip application is really useful. Minimal waste and precision application. There is also a healthy version, easy to make at home. Cucumber or melon (90% water with natural goodness), either with the fruit flesh or just the moisture, sparingly. Gently patted, though with the food version, cleanse after a while, thus food toner is an independent part of the cleanse, tone & moisturise process. You don't really want water onto the flesh surface with toner because the toner rebalances the top surface. Water is absorbant. Gently fingertip tapping gives precision application, reminding not to tug at the skin because that's how wrinkles are eventually created. Enjoy 💐🙋♀️☯️
I just put the toner on my palm then pat both my hands together and pat my hands on my face gently until all of the toner is absorbed onto my skin. I would still use a cotton pad from time to time when I felt like my skin could benefit from a bit of exfoliation. Being gentle while using the cotton pad is the answer.
Korea has a ton of bs pseudo science on skincare. While a good majority of the products itself are good, so many more are industry plants with a new ingredient that claims to do the same exact thing previous best hits have done just right but lost the hype.
