Showing the guts of the home is a good idea. Any home can be pretty, but if it's garbage inside the walls/floors/ceilings, it's just garbage with pretty lipstick. Deer Valley builds a solid home. And they're pretty, too. :)
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! I agree 💯. Deer Valley homes are top notch in many ways! Great attention to detail and very customizable!
Dave You're definitely the better commentator of tour guides For these manufactured homes Keep up the great work I enjoyed watching you And I also enjoyed listen to you Describe every detail Of this home
Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate the vote of confidence lol. I feel like I sound like a big goober, but words of encouragement like what you said, really helps confirm that I am trying to do things differently and educate folks. It means a lot to me. God bless!
This is one of the best videos I have seen , a lot of valuable information and showing the things people need to know. Thank you for your time and the information. Beautiful home also
@@BIGDAVESdreamhomes I understand why the factory or dealer will stage the home and make it look liveable it helps with the sell. In my opinion your video that showed the back bone and quality material is a much better selling point . I guess I'm just old school . It don't hurt anything to let people know what their buying and how it's built.
Love the kitchen cabinets and island! Not a fan of the barn doors but the master bath is amazing as well as the closet! Deer Valley makes great homes! Thanks Dave! Great job!
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! I agree this home has some amazing features in the kitchen and bath areas! Believe it or not, I agree with you about the barn doors. I like the way they look in some applications, but I like functionality over looks in most cases.
I do love watching these home videos. I just wish you would give a price range, I know there are a lot of factors that can go into the price, but a range would be nice. Also, could you try and speed up the videos a little, please? I did a lot of 2x the speed on this one..thank you and good luck with all your future videos.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! Unfortunately, since I work directly for a company, and am not a freelancer, I have to go by my companies policies on social media. I can however go over pricing with you If you contact me at one of the ways listed in the video's description 😉. I will take your suggestions into consideration. I've been trying to find ways to shorten the video's, but it's hard to do and get all the detailed information in that I go over. I may have to start a discord or membership to do the more in depth details. That way I can shorten the video's some. Let me know your thoughts on this idea
Very nice tour. I’ve been curious about Deer Valley and if their homes are really “heavy built” quality like they claim. This was an excellent walkthrough example of their higher quality.
This is my first time watching your channel. I've truly enjoyed you and this tour! It was very informational and I feel much smarter in terms of Dear Valley hms anyway lol. I watch 3 other hosts and have at least 3 years. Thx!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊. Be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell. I have some exciting Deer Valley footage coming over the next few weeks!
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality and affordability of manufactured homes and why they are exploding industry wide.
Hi Dave. Awesome home Love the Deer Valley quality and designs. .Just found your channel and subscribed. Have a question. I’m a little confused on why they would go with floor vents in a house of this caliber. Is it possible to opt for ceiling vents? I’ve been advised to steer clear of floor vents on any mobile home. Thanks for such a detailed tour and explanation of the building quality of Deer Valley.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! Overhead vents are definitely an option to change!! I prefer them in the ceiling myself lol. Thank you for your kind words and for supporting the channel!
I appreciate your inept tour of this home. You are very knowledgeable and it shows. I am beginning to consider a mobile home for myself. They have come a long way! I have seen some wonderful mobile homes. Can this home be put on a foundation? I live in Florida were hurricanes frequently come for a visit. What type of features should I look for in a mobile home since I live on the Gulf coast in the northwest.panhadle of Florida? Here sight built homes start in the 200,000$. which is out of reach for many people here!
Thank you for kind words! You are correct. Manufactured homes have come a long way from where they were to where they are today. Many of the manufactured homes of today's standards outperform site built homes in wind safety tests. To answer your question about the permanent foundation, the answer is yes. In fact, we put all of our double section homes on permanent foundations standard in our pricing. With you being in a coastal area, I would definitely opt for 2X6 exterior wall construction with OSB wrap if it's available for added protection against the outside elements. Many people do not know that in 2006, during Hurricane Katrina, there were more manufactured homes left standing than their site built counterparts. I am not as familiar with local codes in Florida, but I would recommend having the anchor system installed to the max for your area and be sure to verify your home is built to wind zone 1 specs. Manufactured homes use metal hurricane straps that attach the roof to the walls and the walls to the floor, and then the home itself is anchored into the ground. They install these straps within the walls on the wall studs. Wind zone determines how many straps and the spacing of those straps. I can go on and on about these homes. Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions and I will be happy to assist you. Check out our 2 Family Dream Homes locations. One is in Christmas Florida and the other is in Cocoa Beach Florida. Thank you for your great questions and support!
Elerly lady hear I need to know about sturcher of wall is it made with 2by 4s is roof rafter are they 2by 4s Or 2by6s is the wall plaster board or I like wood paneling the structure is most important to me
@delphiavillars Thank you for your question! All Deer Valley homes come standard with 2X6 exterior walls 16" O.C with OSB wood wrap. Interior walls are 2X4. As far as the roof rafters go it depends on which style roof you go with. If you go with a raised roof pitch like a 5/12, 6/12, or 7/12 the thickness and spacing of the rafters will adjust.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour!! Pricing on these homes can vary greatly depending on location, state and local codes, freight and setup cost in your area. I do not post pricing on my channel due to these factors and my store only being to service a 200 mile radius. I will be more than happy to go over pricing in private via the ways listed in the description!
Like this one but I would want a real fireplace. I am a single lady, so I would only want a two bedroom on separate sides of the house. Just for company.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! Everything you listed can be done by this builder. They will completely customize this home however you want within the perimeters of what they can do.
Thank you for your comment! I will be happy to assist you with that. Please IM me or email me @david.clark@familydreamhomes.com or you can call me at 270-781-7474 ext. 205
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! For pricing information please contact me directly at one of the ways listed in the video's description.
How much does a home like this go for? I live in Michigan with my wife and we’re looking for about 1500 square feet with this similar floor plan and looking to be around $120,000-$130,000 with some upgrades as well. My name is Cody and would love to know more about your guys manufactured homes.
Hello Cody! Thank you for your question and for taking the tour! The builder of this home is the heaviest builder in the industry today and their homes start at $125/Sq.Ft. and up in my area. But that can vastly be different depending on setup crews and codes in your area. My recommendation would to be to look at a Fleetwood or Champion home for the price range you are looking for. They also have factories all over the country and most likely have a retailer in your area that can service your needs.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! There is a Deer Valley retailer in Eldarado Arkansas, Clayton Homes in Conway Arkansas, Heart Homes of Harrison Arkansas. There may be more but those are listed as Deer Valley Home dealers in Arkansas. Hopefully that helps!
Thank you for your question and support! If you will instant message or email me at david.clark@familydreamhomes.com I will be more than happy to go over pricing with you.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! This is one of my favorite homes, too. Unfortunately, we currently do not service that area yet, but we are constantly expanding into new markets and hope to be available in a much broader market in the near future. Pricing can vary so greatly depending on freight, setup, state, and local codes in your area. If you'd like to discuss pricing further, feel free to DM me or email me @ david.clark@familydreamhomes.com and I will be happy to discuss things further.
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! I do not work for Deer Valley but I do love their homes! I am not aware of a retailer in that area but I will be happy to do some research and see what I can find!
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! Unfortunately, the closest retailers that carry the Deer Valley product to you is in West Virginia. Not sure if they will go to where you are. You can buy the home from a retailer sometimes and have it drop shipped to you. You will have to find someone locally to set it up though.
I wasn't really impressed with your showing this beautiful home you were showing us unfinished wood I like to see the kitchen and the appliances and stuff like that I don't really care if it's unfinished wood
Thank you for your comment! I normally show completely finished homes, but I wanted to highlight the construction aspect since this home wasn't finished yet. I did highlight the kitchen and the appliances in the video as well. Just not as much on this one. Again, thank you for your comments and I will take what you said into consideration for future videos
I'm glad the structure of mobile homes has improved over the years !! Yay !
Thank you for your comment and for taking the tour! Yes they have for sure

Thank you for your comment! That's 100% true. There are some beautiful homes out there but not built with very much integrity.
I love Deer Valley homes. They're high end and the attention to detail is awesome.

The navy blue cabinets are nice! Love the built in porch, I’d screen the area in.
Thank you for your comment! Yes I agree with that totally lol. I'm a big fan of screened in porches. It keeps those mosquitoes out lol.

@davidterry919 exactly what I was going for! Anyone can put lipstick on a pig but what it's really about is durability and safety.

I like this home. I’m hoping it’s available in TX. Manufacturers need to make drawers & cabinets deeper but otherwise Great floorplan!!
Thank you for your comment! This home is available in Texas. You will have to find a retailer near you to purchase it through.
Very nice tour. I’ve been curious about Deer Valley and if their homes are really “heavy built” quality like they claim. This was an excellent walkthrough example of their higher quality.
