Through the Fields was my favorite song in Dragon Warrior Monsters. Hearing an orchestrated version of the song brings back a lot of memories. Good times.
Oh I love this song so much. One of my favourite role-playing games ever for super famicom. Heart-beat created a great game. With DQ VIII for PS2 level 5 repeated another milestone.
I first heard the midi version of this song on DQ Builders 2. It would have been cool to hear this version in game. I wouldn’t have cared how many times.
@UNSTABLE111 I actually waited almost 7 years to play this game, along with DQIV, because I heard it was going to be remade. And it was worth it. Still like DQIV, V and VIII the most, but this game is just another amazing chapter in the series. But I've been listening to this music since I was probably 12 years old, so its nice to finally match the gameplay to the song.
@maxis2k Cool!!! My first foray in Dragon Quest was the gbc Dragon Warrior I and II collection. Then I played Dragon Quest 8, which I really liked because of its sweeping score and simple but balanced gameplay. I have recently played Dragon Quest IV, and I thought it was great title as well. For me IV for some reason felt perfect in its pacing. I agree, it seems Dragon Quest games are always consistent in quality. Not just gameplay, but also music.

I don't understand the hard part, since most of the DQ games are pretty hard. I believe the story went somewhere when you got to the third world(where every thing is evil) And yeah, I can agree with knowing where to go. I think its because the second part of the game gave you alot more freedom on where you can go. You just need to talk to some NPCs to get a vague hint on your next location. The DS version gives you a top screen map so then you see where the continents are at.
And dont forget party chat! I found the freedom in the Zenithian equipment segment gorgeus, i dont like games where you are being told what to do next, in this case was made perfectly, in par of Wild Arms 1.
Japan hasnt gotten it yet and there hasnt been a single screenshot or any information of the game yet. im thinking it could launch late next year in the US
The game kinda ruined the music for me at some points. I found the story very weak, it was REALLY hard to figure out where to go,the game was unfair and hard and no matter how far you got in the game, the story never went anywhere. In my opinion.I never played the DS version though, i played the SNES one. I am a huge Dragon Quest fan. Really, a HUGE fan. But Dragon Quest 6 is one of my least favourite games of all time.
Personally, I would say that VI has the best overworld theme in the franchise and one of the best battle themes. The dungeon themes were a bit messy, though. I also adored a grand majority of V's soundtrack.
The first I heard of this track was on DWMonsters for Gameboy. Favorite over world theme.
3:15 Another World starts there. For those who are like me and Another World made us love dq6 and preffer it over than Through the fields.
Love this track. I put it on when I'm in my 'thinking' mode.
Through the Fields was my favorite song in Dragon Warrior Monsters. Hearing an orchestrated version of the song brings back a lot of memories. Good times.
This is my favourite overworld theme in the entire series, hands down.
[00:00] Through the Fields
[01:46] Wandering through the Silence
[03:55] Another World
3:24 is like an eargasm.
DQ builders 2 furrowfield!
Yes
Yep. 😁
Cant find that soundtrack though, only this one
@@phillippeandpheather5379 now on xbox.
the dq builders 2 one sounds much better than this one
I Love wandering through the Silence it's Like Koichi Sugiyama's saying he can Hear things far away

I wish every dragon quest game could be rereleased with graphics like DQ8 with the music orchestrated.
or DQ11 graphics
@@Luigivaldo this comment is 7 years old bruh
@@RoseLostinValley Ik lol, but yeah I would love a remake of all the games, especially the Zenithian trilogy
@@Luigivaldo i mean sure bit I'm digging the DQ11S 16bit mode
If all games had graphics like the zenithian ds trilogy I will literally be fulfilled. It's my favourite art style
it was so nice hearing this as the overworld theme of Furrowfield
Been trying to find this since I played DQ6 and then DQ Builders 2. I le thank you.
Hearing this in the Fire Territory in DQX was a treat :)

@Jaltalex Really? I haven't played this game and this sound track is AMAZING!!!
I wonder when the DS game will come out... Holiday '09? Early 2010? Throw me a clue here, so I won't fall.

I suppose you havent heard Ocean Waves to actually say that sentence
