Thank you for making and posting this! I have a happy childhood memory of this story from my 7 year olds' school reading book, growing up in the land locked West Midlands of England :)
He is a Scot who has lived in Northern Ireland for about 30 years and has in his time driven tourists around the Antrim Coast and all over Northern AND southern Ireland also Scotland and many parts of England. He is also the first man to Hang glide from the Mountains of Mourn. ( On a Saturday Morning kids TV show) An engaging character with the gift of the gab ( Some say it was he that first kissed the 'Blarney Stone' imbuing it with the power of inducing loquaciousness in others)☺ In short he is one of those infuriating folk that when they turn their hand to something they are irritatingly good at it, and I am proud to call him my friend
How can the wife be smarter than Finn McCool when he has all the knowledge in the world from eating the salmon of knowledge. Apart from that, that was great, really enjoyed it, especially the narrator. "Uhhh, are you telling me, that's...the baby?"
Thank you Matthew, I am a tour guide along the North Antrim Coast to the Giants Causeway and tell these stories live on the bus, I am looking for more Celtic Legends to learn.
+Tom P I've just recently written a short play for the waking the giant festival in warrenpoint where Finn McCool defeated ruscaire. loved ur causeway story brilliantly told
I have never heard this version, I love it, lol. I may be wrong, but it sounded like a Scotsman telling the story? I took that end bit about the Isle of Man as a jab. Is that a "inside Scottish joke"?
Hi Ryan. You are correct I am a Scot but I live in Northern Ireland where I am a Tour Guide. The Isle of Man bit at the end is a well-known part of the Fairytale. The version I tell here is made from many different stories of Finn McCool
Hey, i totally can't find this song "Salute to the Hero" online somehow. Would you be able to link me to it or to any other kind of calm, inspiring celtic folk music? Most celtic folk songs i find sounds rather like pub folk songs and even though it is good i'd be thrilled if i could find more music in this very specific style
There are several, some in America and even one in Australia, the one here in the north of Ireland is the largest of its kind and is Northern Ireland's World Heritage Site.
Finn McCool planted the Tea trees when he was a boy. They grew next to the Haggis seeds that blew over from Scotland. I hope that answers your question 🙂
I got this ancient book and I mean ancient and it links all all the religions all into one and the story is in it too a Finn McCool it's a 3000 page book that is 3 1/2 ft tall and a foot and a half thick that has gold and it's all made of leather and hemp paper with really good art it is a very expensive book like $$,$$$$$$ but the Catholic Church and all forms of government I've been trying to get their hands on it for so long and I've made thousands of copies and sent them to Pacific places around the world with strange magical happenings people say glitches but it's just the magical field interrupting I just need to make 3 billion then everyone will know but I just had to say that that's really cool that the stories and in this book
You say Whiskey, I say whisky it's the derived word, I say Finn, you say Fion but pronounce it Finn, I am sure everyone knows who he is. But thanks for pointing it out.
Thanks Billy. What you say is correct but when the Causeway was created (whichever story you care to believe) there was no Northern Ireland as it didn't exist until It was created as a separate legal entity on 3 May 1921, under the Government of Ireland Act 1920. Having said that I live in Northern Ireland and try to keep my stories geographically correct. Also as a tour guide I get to tell tourists that the Titanic wasn't built in Northern Ireland for the same reason LoL :-)

Hi Tam. My copyright on my work is always applied. But on a more positive note you have a great voice for this kind of work. You should focus on that. Reiving other people's work is a negative way of doing things. You should give that some consideration on future work. You should do an audio CD or download of your stories. That sounds good to me. Credit or not. The choice is always yours. I will leave that with you. At last! A legend in my own lunchtime! S.

@@randallstephenhall8527 Hi Randall. Many years ago 1970's I played and sang in a folk group in Scotland called Lintie. We made a few bob from it, but it was mostly about the good craic and the beer. I have lived in Northern Ireland for 40 years now and my old group mates sadly are all gone.
It's really cool to think of two giants so tall, that they could see each other from 25 miles away
wow good work
Just came across this. Brilliant and well presented.

What kind of music is used in the beginning it’s always used for mythology but I have no idea what it’s called
It's called Salute To The Hero a piece of Celtic Folk Music
Thank you ! I really enjoyed the video by the way ! Also are you planning on doing any more mythology type of videos?
