Recently discovered that old fashioned sponge tip applicators work well for certain shadows such as Colourpop super shock, and glitter shadows. Found a container of applicators for $5 at Ulta... keeps my fingers and shadows clean.

i recently went back to them, too, and can't believe i ever turned my nose up to them before. it would be nice to see a non-disposable version soon.
Agree! Those applicators are perfect for metallics!
I learned that from Stephanie Nicole last year and haven't looked back since. I hate putting my fingers in my makeup and I don't have much lid space so pointed sponge applicators give me much more control.
@@cjordan919 A few brands make reusable silicone applicators, I think Elf has one, but I haven't tried it so I don't know if the effect is the same as the sponge. Could be worth checking out since Elf is affordable. Or you could spend $27 for Surratt Beauty's version 😉
So I’m in Germany and we came to one of the military bases here to run some errands. I had just finished watching your video, and then I see this palette on display at the base exchange! At about $10 cheaper and no sales tax, of course I bought it, lol! I love the looks you created; thank you! I hope you are feeling better!♥️😊

I have lived Carly Bybel for a long time. I actually have the palette she did with Bh cosmetics and I love the highlighters in it. I do love the looks you did and I love the packaging, it’s so girly. I do however wish there was more deeper mattes but overall it’s a gorgeous palette. ❤️❤️
I still have her pallet with BH cosmetics too. It was actually the first pallet I ever bought and I love it!

Bought the palette. It immediately made sense to me. Not only are colors beautiful, but it instantly tells me that I can use the colors for both day and night, in multitude of combinations!
The nails really rounded out your beautiful looks. You don't need length but don't forsake the color moving forward. Everything looks so nice.
I have always used makeup but my love for makeup as my hobby grew after my cross section paralysis and other health issues, because I couldn't enjoy my old hobbies anymore. RUclips taught me how to step up the game, I saw so many talented artists, beautiful souls, gorgeous people and you are one of them. Thank you Mel ❤ you explain things in a really special way!

Extreme kudos to you Mel, for mentioning the glitter. I’m a massive girlie girl, and went through a very gratuitous glitter phase, but my last ophthalmology appointment, my optical doc said I have several scratches on my cornea, and he suggested avoiding glitter eye products, he said it can happen, and you won’t even necessarily feel it, so I’ve had a big shift to just shimmers and metallic shades. So thanks for looking out for us, and being thoughtful in your reviews 👍🏼👏🏼💞

Mine just arrived yesterday and I LOVE it. Bybel, Libra, and Jode are my favorites. Mandala is so gorgeous but it feels quite dry

This is one of the few new eyeshadow palettes that I am excited about. I have been purchasing older releases, but the new releases are a little too editorial for my taste. I can see myself actually using this one. Thank you for the beautiful presentation.

I have a container of wedges handy for the same use you did. But also for setting down a thin layer of powder around my lips so the liner and lipstick doesn't bleed out.

I received and love this palette as well. All of the colors coordinate beautifully, and I feel it's a very cohesive collection, directly reflective of Carli. The colors are not so outrageous as to be specific to only certain occasions. These colors are beautiful and suitable for every day wear. I ordered it! Those two blueish purplish shades are sooo pretty (though seem to be very similar)? Overall it seems like it should have been a spring release though as that’s more the vibe I get. Now I need to go rewatch your purchase/pass video to see if you say what day the Huda nude minis are releasing at Sephora... Much ❤️
Ahhh, no... I just couldn’t the sparkle and depth to come across on camera. One is very much like a slate gray and the other is a purple
They work for a winter release too, so Im not surprised that they released it during fall.

I'm mad at ABH right now for the avalanche of releases that I feel buried Jackie Aina's palette and took full advantage of ABH collectors' completionist desires...but there's no denying how pretty this is. I don't want to want it but I do😄 Great tutorial as always, Mel!
It's a pretty palette, and really is Carli's palette. I probably won't get it as it's limited edition, but it's pretty. It's very winter/spring in my mind.

@@cjordan919 Lol, for me it's just because it's only around for a limited time. I can't/shouldn't buy anything now, but by the time I can it's probably out of stock. That's all.
I'm not a RUclipsr but for them it's because viewers get annoyed when they recommend LE products or have them in tutorials because they can't get them.

On my big TV I could see you were having a lot of fall out on that color you got in your eye and it amazes me how you can get that off there without having to redo your make up. When you showed the palette it looked better than when I saw it on the website! I kind of feel sorry for Carli because by now some people are kind of tired of ABH and ALL their palettes! You are the most beautiful sick girl ever! 🌹💋🌹
This is really pretty on you! I can definitely tell its not my color scheme. I prefer a richer color scheme but I’m not mad at it. Very pretty.
