Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden introduces electric vehicle chargers

Visitors to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden can now charge their electric vehicles while touring one of the premier gardens in North America.
Fairfield District Supervisor Roscoe D. Cooper III joined officials from the nonprofit garden and Dominion Energy in a late May ribbon-cutting to commemorate the installation of the chargers, which support the garden's sustainability efforts.
"The charging stations are a great complement to Henrico County's plan to install similar EV chargers at several county facilities," Cooper said.
The county is planning EV charging stations at seven locations after being awarded a $1.4 million federal grant to promote clean energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. For more information, visit henrico.us/news/2024/01/henri....
