I think it is really important to expose your pups to new things even if it isn't going to be magical and amazing the first time. Yes, some dogs may do amazing on the first try, but majority of them won't. It's like you going bungee jumping as a human, you wouldn't just be able to walk up and jump off. Especially if you never seen it before.
So take your time, expose your pups and let them have fun :) Don't get made if they don't blow your mind first try.

Franko soo funny! It was a good thing to do as surprisingly not all dogs are good swimmers so as often you all go to the lakes there, this was a very caring thing to do just for his safety/water confidence if nothing else.
I'm hopeful that the Aussie mix I just adopted takes to water. I kayak in the summer. This is inspiring.

This was really cool to see how dogs are introduced to dock diving. I recently found a training center that offers dock diving and I think it would be soooo cool to try! However, I have Chihuahuas and while they do swim...I just don't see them ever wanting to jump into a body of water 😆
