Tea tree oil!! It repels them. Just put a couple drops in her shampoo. Also if you can find a product called fairytale it's like a detailer type spray it works as weel

As for the lice there is a spray called fairytale spray and it has rosemary and other ingredients that you can spray in the hair to prevent lice and it smells good and if you don’t really like the smell don’t worry it wears off very quickly it also doesn’t make the hair greasy and it is just amazing I totally recommend

My mom use to put two drops of tea tree oil in a little spray bottle of water, and spray it in her hair, clothes ( it’s not harmful and smells good but the lice sure don’t like it)
Hairspray or thick gel, cause it’s so hard they can’t climb really onto the hair because they slide off. Also ecleptus head and shoulders keeps it away or helps, also it’s good for dogs for fleas but good for our hair to prevent dandruff and possibly lice.

Wash her hair with shea moisture apple cider vinegar shampoo. DO NOT CONDITION. Massage in rosemary oil and coat her hair and scalp in coconut oil. Leave in braids and do as needed(when her hair starts to dry out) my daughter went through it last year and has curly thick hair ❤
Quick tip I use tea tree oil if I ever get lice and to prevent it it works great it's the best thing I've ever used and pull her hair up very tight in a braided ponytail you can put the tea tree oil in her shampoo you can buy tea tree oil shampoo I would recommend for you to put it in yours also just in case she caught lice from that kid and I would if you're washing your son's hair put a tiny drop in his shampoo just because a little babies have a little bit of hair bacon still catch lice my niece 1 1/2 years she got lice

Tip : teatree oil and water like 2-3 drops is so good I've started doing that haven5 got lice for over a year
