- SOMEONE BROKE INTO OUR HOUSE WHILE WE WERE HOME!!!
As you guys know we are moving to a new house... and this is why. Our house got broken into while we were home and we have live footage on our security camera of the Police coming in but we didn't get the robber on the camera because we only had one camera facing the front door and not the garage. This was a very scary situation and we are so grateful no one got hurt. We now have an upgraded alarm system and more security cameras so we feel more safe but not completely safe yet. We are looking to move into a guard gated community soon.

I live alone. I didn’t have an alarm system. 3 people broke into my home and took a lot of my processions. I’m so grateful I wasn’t home. It was so scary! The thought of strangers in my home and going through my things was such a violation. Since then I’ve put in an alarm system and I’m much more cautious and aware of my surroundings. I understand how you feel!! You will get past it and you’ll take what you’ve learned from this experience and be more cautious. Best wishes to you all ❤️🙏🏻
I’m so sorry! Omg the stress and fear that comes from that is insane and I know how you feel as my family has experienced such horror like this except we didn’t have any alarm systems. It’s hard to feel ok to leave your kids in another room but may the Lord give you peace and may the burglar be caught. Shame on that robber.. take care ❤️

Im so sorry that you had to go through this Crystal. I had a similar situation and it took me awhile to feel safe anywhere. You are aloud to be feel scared and worry about things and cry cause this took your sense of security away. I hope with your new security system that you feel a little safe in your home. I’m so glad y’all are safe. Yes that’s true robbers wouldn’t pick a house in a gated community when there’s other houses around it. Robbers also wouldn’t come to your house that late at night. Robbers try to avoid owners of houses. I’m so sorry that this horrible person had the evil, evil intentions they did. Thank the Lord you guys are safe now. @@serenawill128 you have no idea😂😂😂😂......where I’m from, only petty robbers rob during the day. They’ll come to you, put you at gunpoint so you show them where your valuables are. They day they came to our home, only my siblings were there. I’d have peed in my pants if I was😂😂😂

God bless I'm so glad y'all okay and especially the babies are okay I know its traumatic the same thing happened to me and it was just me and my son and I had no alarm but I heard footsteps upstairs when I left my room and I ran back into my room locked the door and called 911 and now I have my license to carry I'm not playing I had to convince my husband cause he's always out and working and I'm home with the kids girl strap up its the best thing to do you have a right to bare arm!!! ❤❤❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💯💯💯💜💜💜💜 I hope y'all find a safe house!!!
Cristal I have ptsd. It is scary. Mine is from a similar situation. It’s is the worst thing that someone else can cause you. I know right now you are scared. But I promise one day you will have piece of mind. I hope you can move soon and find a little peace.

After listening to the incident that happened with you guys i would like to suggest to not to update about your daily schedules or whereabouts on any social media platforms, I consider it highly dangerous, sorry for being so skeptical but that's what I do in our personal life, especially Never-Ever Tag your locations unless you have really moved out from there.

Thank you for sharing Cristal. That was sooo courageous of you to do. I know how traumatic it is to be violated as I too had been violated at a really young age. It will take time and good counseling to get past it all. One thing I did for myself was take active self protection classes. It has helped me to be more aware of my surroundings and has helped build my confidence. Praying God's hedge of protection to continue to be around The Can Fam💕🙏🏽
Be vigilant and always double check the doors and windows before going to sleep. Above all keep on praying for protection. There's a lot of crimes going on in America now, they don't choose their victims. Scary. This is truly traumatic. God bless your family.

You guys are very brave discussing this. Cristal, I'm sure you've been told that you are suffering from stress related to the robbery. You're doing the right thing confronting this head on. In todays world alarms are absolutely needed. It's good to move to a safer house. Your babies are of paramount importance. I'm from South Africa and we live with this. Take your time to get well. I feel you Crystal. I'm living in a sketchy community. Twice I woke up with a burglar in my face. Your body will adjust on times like this. Before I slept deep now I develop insomnia and have troubled sleeping. It's hard really. So be safe yall. Wish I have a cure. But no. I always feel unsafe.

It’s so heartbreaking knowing how often this is happening to our neighbors. My car got broken into in LA and it was parked in a gated parking but nothing was stolen they shattered my window and tried to take my bumper and I ended moving out of that complex because just didn’t feel safe. Hugs! My house was robbed years ago, thankfully no one was home but knowing that someone just invaded your privacy is just an awful feeling.
So sorry Cristal.... You'll get over the feeling eventually. This just reminded me of when i was in school, my dad was away and it was just my mum and kid brother of about 4yrs old... they were literally face to face with the person who broke in, the window was broken, they were threatened with weapons etc... it took them a long time to be able to sleep... my kid bro would fall asleep and suddenly wake up crying and scared and that was so tough on all of us. You'll be fine Cristal... Glad the kids weren't directly involved. My heart goes out to you....❤❤❤
I love your words of wisdom Cristal! I have been through a rough time. A really bad car accident. I went unconscious for 3 minutes and when I woke up I was bleeding and I had bruises everywhere. Now, I am terrified of car rides. But watching your vlogs since the beginning truly helped me get through it and how inspirational your words are and how truly meaningful they are. Love you guys ❤

Cristal I’m so sorry you went trough this scary experience, is very traumatic it happened to my husband and I it rob us of feeling secure in the home that we had live there for many years, we move with in two months out of there. I got a huge rescue ferocious dog but it didn’t help while we were there. You have ptsd you’ll probably benefit by talking to a professional to help you with this traumatic experience. I'm so sorry that happened to you! I completely understand how you feel. I actually had someone break into our house when I was home with my 1 year old at the time and my husband was working 3rd shift. It was 4 guys and they had guns too. I ran straight to my son's room and got him out of bed and ran and hid! Thank God my husband was only about 3 minutes away and I was able to text him and as soon as he pulled up luckily the guys all left. That was the scariest moment of my life! All I could think about was OMG they're going to kill us or kill me and take my son or maybe leave him behind with me laying there dead. I'll never forget that day as long as I live! I'm so glad you and the kids are ok. I'll keep you in my prayers because I know it can constantly stay on your mind and worry you that it might happen again. To this day I keep our alarm on constantly even when we're at home. Sending you lots of love and prayers! ❤️❤️❤️

I can totally relate. I was broken into in 2020. It's such a violating and traumatizing feeling. I'm thankful I wasn't home, but if I had been, I don't think they would have entered my home. It took over a month before I could sleep in my room.
It will take time, but eventually you'll heal. Like you said, don't let it rob you of good moments and live in fear. That's not a way to live. The important thing, is that you and your children are safe and no one was hurt. Hugs my friend! ❤

I am so sorry that u would have to go through something so horrible. Thank God for protecting your babies and yourself. This will take a long time to not only get over, but to process period. Not for nothing, but I worked in a convenience store on the over night shift, I was robbed once during the day by an ex employee, then 2 times at gunpoint overnight, it's amazing what people will do for a quick come up, and what's worse is they have not one ounce of consideration, compassion or respect for another human life. The fear alone is unreal. I can only imagine the fear, I was in a store, you were in your home, with your children... I was so scared, I shook for days, I thought about every bad scenario possible, all the things that could of happened, I drove myself crazy with thoughts... I really hope your able to have your comfort back at some point, right now you need time, understanding, support and lots of love, which I'm sure you have!! It's a shame that bad things happen, but it's a reminder that you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times, unfortunately this means at home as well... So glad you all are safe.. Lots of hugs and kisses with the kids would be great at a time like this ...

Ugh my heart breaks for you girl!! I went through something similar when I was like 23. It was my first home with me and my son (back before my beautiful little girls and my wonderful hubs came into my life) and someone broke into my house while my son was there, I woke up bc After having my son I became a very light sleeper I wake up from anything and everything and I heard the glass breaking in the back door, ran into my sons room who was 5 at the time and called the cops and thankfully they got there quickly … nothing was taken it was just so beyond scary hearing someone walking around in my house at 3:47am I will never forget that night or the time or how I felt trying to keep my 5 year old quiet after being woken up from a dead sleep. Beyond scary I literally thought we were going to die and that’s a feeling that now even 5 years later I still feel like it was yesterday I can’t go to sleep without checking to make sure every door is locked the garage doors are closed the gates are closed alarms are on we even have an extra sensor in our room so incase we don’t wake up from the alarm on it’s own it sounds off in our room as well…. so I totally emphasize with you I understand how you felt and how you’re feeling and the ptsd you get from something like that. I left that house that night and moved back in with my parents (😩) for a good 4 months until I felt safe enough to start looking for a new house. Lots of prayers being sent your way!! It’s still so fresh for you but it gets better!! You’ll forever be changed by that experience but that constant fear will get better over time!
Omg! So scary I can’t imagine how scary that would’ve been! I’m a mum of 2 young boys and my partner often goes away as he’s a lorry driver and I’m always scared being on my own! We have no security either.

So So Sorry! 🙏 Prayers for Strength and Peace of Mind!! I had Someone Walk into my House while I was home too. My door was'nt locked, and in Broad day light!! But Thank the Lord, it could of went Bad but, God was with me, and I'm here to tell about it. And Thank the Lord You and your Babies are alright! I do remember once The man left I relized what the guy was there for, and i could'nt sleep for Days, but my Strength and Peace came from God!! ❤

I was in karate and the sensei and other instructors always told us to be aware of our surroundings at our house, stores, parkings, etc. Never post if we were out of home doing errands, or hanging out at some place and giving the location on social media. We even learn how to walk at night with the keys always at hand between fingers (you can use it as a defense weapon) and other kind of preventive stuff. Till this day I use all those lessons with my children so they can have the basic tools to be aware of potential dangerous situations and defend themselves. It's clear that you are doing the proper thing to find another house probably the person who broke in your house could have been following you on social media and took advantage that Niko wasn't at home. We are living in a crazy dangerous world. Take care, be safe and blessings for all.

At times, is someone who you trust and who are very closed to you guys. This happened to me and my family and ended up finding out it was a “friend” of ours. Don’t trust anyone! As a mom the guilt is there all the time but when something happens it’s almost like ptsd. You replay every moment every possibility. It's time to realize you are a very famous family and needs more protection. I'm always weary of families showing there homes online. There are sick people out there. Thank God for keeping you and your kids safe. It’s very very important to have proper security system from the inside and the outside of your home. No area around the house should be kept unlocked for the perpetrators to gain an east entry. I’m sure this has made you more cautious 🙏🙏

Couldn't control my tears when you said you are trying to not let this incident scare you and it takes a lot of work. Such incidents really shake you up and you feel so scared specially you can't predict what the other person wanted and you want to protect your loved ones at all cost. I also get paranoid and scared about my family and sometimes it affects my mental peace also. It's like you want everyone to be in front of your eyes all the time. With time things do get better and if not then counselling may help. Things will get better with time and a little helo

I hate that you had to go through that…. I’m sorry for you both. My Dad was a special agent and he pounded in our heads to always be aware of your surroundings and also… here’s a little tidbit for the women out there. NEVER EVER EVER get into a car with someone trying to kidnap you. Scream, yell, fight as hard as you possibly can bc once you’re in the car, the chances of not coming out alive increases dramatically. Just DO NOT get in the car with them!!

strange that there’s no footage tho and nothing was taken.. sometimes the alarm system create a false alarm and have issues...

Thank you so much for sharing. I know it was hard but you are right you can't live your life in fear or that person that invaded your space will have won. I'm talking from experience. My kids always learned lock door soon as we enter our home now even with there own homes. Because you just never know. I taught them always be aware there surroundings even tho they are men. I always lock my door when I get in car right away and when I'm out in my yard mowing or working outside I lock my house doors because you never know who is watching you. I live in small town now but I grew up a city girl and I still live in the aware state of mind of city life. I hope it's not a fan but it's sounding like it might be sorry to say. Smart move on never saying your not at home at any time. If I do leave it's my trusted neighbor to watch my house. It'll take some time but you'll get thru this. I'm with you I'd probly want to move to feel safe again. Im single mom n have three boys that are now grown men on there own but when they lived at home I always n stressed this hard to them. If you ever hear someone in my room to go out and get help. Go to neighbors and call police. Leave house never come in my room because if there gonna hurt me there probly gonna hurt you then none of us can get help. I hate to say it's NEVER to early go over plans with your kids.
