I love you guys! But this interview was very awkward and cringy. Boomer does have a unique perspective from a brown person yet he comes across as arrogant, rude and disrespectful.
It sucks that sometimes boomer would cut off Gera in his Quince “game” boomer didn’t want to participate. I understand the problematic background and history behind it yet it is clearly a “game” and it was not Gera perpetuating this tradition. Like girl chill!
Another thing is that I notice you guys folding on your own convictions when boomer had a negative opinion on the topics o themes.
I was a big fan and I am rooting for Boomer but it was a disappointment. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt after watching X-rated but even in the show he can be problematic and often times confused that with being hated for his brown skin, which it certainly does happen and I am sure it has happen to him. It surprises me that he does NOT reflect on his own behavior and attitudes and when shows those behaviors he then blames being brown but I think it could be both in some situations, him being arrogant and narcissistic plus his skin color, which makes it a bad combo not only because people are discriminating him but also his behavior.
Anyways, I love you and enjoy your podcast but stand firm in your experiences and don’t let someone like boomer see things differently just to fit into the podcast.
    Much respect
    ❤❤❤❤

Hey friend! Thanks for the feedback ❤️! I do wanna say, understanding why someone sees things differently is not folding on your convictions! I loved boomer and tho we may not see things the same all the time, I always try to understand other ppls views. Understanding does not always equal agreeing though!
But thank you for the love! I know you don’t come from a bad place. But honestly Boomer was a sweetheart he just has a lot to say. Also remember reality TV is just that, TV! And at the end of the day it’s all a performance. For example, in the show he gets mad at a guy for being late, but in real life our studio guy was late, so we started recording like an hour later than we thought, we even waited outside cus the studio was locked and Boomer didn’t care. I’m just explaining this because ppl are more than what u see on TV. When it comes to his brown skin tho, brown ppl do experience racism often, and being able to see when it’s happening is something we know when we’re around white ppl. With racism u know what it is when it’s happening. So I try not to dismiss ppls claims about that. Anyway thank u again. Just food for thought! Love u and thank u so much for the support! I will always stand strong in my experience I promise! Much love ❤️🚀✨

Have to say I agree with commenter about Boomer. He was sort of a hostile guest. I guess he is maybe a hurt person who is not well enough to speak with candor. His approach to having a discussion was to throw up trauma, then say he was not a victim of the trauma. I feel for him. I know the work he does is hard and soul crushing at times probably. Not a great guest to listen to. Had to turn it off due to the constant defensiveness.
I listen to the podcast for Gera’s viewpoint and humor, and this guy just threw trouble in your face over and over, which means that you guys were constantly responding to his trauma/ non trauma answers, which were over serious, and didn’t allow for honest conversation or a relaxed atmosphere.
Best of luck with future podcasts! Love to see you succeed!😁😇😘
