I feel like the live versions of all their songs and albums are just so much better than the released versions. Might have to catch a concert next time because they really do sound amazing
Thank you for capturing this video. Wonderful job. You captured the members, the background videos, the moody lighting, and you even panned left and right to capture the entire experience, and the solemn mood, here and in the parts of the world being flattened.
I am wondering if it is all like this? Dark, discordant, gloomy. If it is, I can take this in small doses. If this is all they bring to the discourse, I will have to pass.
the first and second time I saw Godspeed live, I was genuinely shocked afterwards that the world hadn't just vanished. Perhaps you should stay near an exit if you're not sure you can take it all. But it's worth it, they're one of the best experiences out there
@@vangledosh first I thought something like this when I read that comment. Then I realised, how many times have I gone to a concert and just didn't like it? It happens. Can't win em all mate
Gosh this Static Valley / Pale Spectator transition is so good ❤🔥

They are fantastic live, I am so glad I went and what a great venue Troxy is
The absolute highlight of the night.

Fantastic video! Searching on YT I reckon there could be enough high quality footage to cut the entire gig together :)
Saw them live in the Empire in Belfast many many years ago. Think some of our Tripzville stuff is inspired by them.
14:20 wow!! 🤯

@@B4_J20 Clearly it's not for you. Why on earth did you buy a ticket for a band you clearly have no interest in?
No, there is more. I'm not sure this can be called "discordant" though. It's mainstream in its melodiousness, I thought.
@@tavishurn2585 yes, but seeing as they just released an album dedicated to genocide I'm expecting a heavy and doomed concert next week
