This song is from album Roots. It's dedicated to the native tribes of Brazil, special from the Xavantes. They used to commit suicide after their land had been taken and destroyed by white folks. Their beliefs and religion are linked to the nature and the place they used to belong that life lost its meaning if they were taken from their place.

realmente, o lançamento do roots mostrou pro mundo que o Brasil também sabe metal, se essa banda n tivesse desmanchado, teria colocado metallica, megadeth, no bolso.
Em 90 Sepultura e pantera eram as únicas bandas de metal que estavam detonando,podem ver,enquanto bandas tradicionais dos anos 70/80 tavam se fudendo nos meados da década Sepultura estava no seu auge.
Nego pode falar de banda clássica do thrash, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax e o caralho, mas peso e pegada igual se vê no final desse vídeo aí eu nunca mais vi.

I listen to death, black, grind, thrash for more than 15 years and this is the heaviest song ever in my opinion. No extreme metal vocal techniques, no blast beats, no double bass,etc. Just fucking raw nuclear power 💥💥💥. Plain, untrained, unfiltered, unadulterated pure brute force!
This is probably the hardest song I've ever heard from a live performance. This is like breaking eardrums down the street, making your eyes water, cosmically forcing the whole building to mosh brutal. And I've heard more "technically" brutal and more complex songs.
