- Finalmouse Ultralight 2 Review. It's a 47 Gram Monster that is nearly flawless. Coming with an excellent shape and size for those with medium to small hands and those who use fingertip/claw grip. Not so good for those with large hands or who use palm grip. It supports some of my favorite side buttons ever. Along with solid mechanical clicks. However, I'm not the biggest fan of their scroll wheel. It's a unicorn of a mouse since it is limited edition. So is it worth paying extra through third party? Find out in today's review.
I also discuss how Finalmouse's brand and way of doing business is highly questionable but also why we have a lot to thank them for. As they have helped move the gaming mouse market forward greatly by coming out with improvements before anyone else.

Hey man, I have one suggestion for ur video intros where like theres a green background and says Galahad reviews, I think you can improve on this part by making the setting feel cooler and it will entice ur viewers to watch the review👍

Does your ninja air58 have any discoloration or it just happen with the blue color?

No, my Air58 hasn't had any discoloration. I did hear that was a problem with the Blue one. I'm not sure if that is also the case with the red one.
what would you recommend for a hybrid claw/palm small hand
viper mini or the ultralight 2?
The Viper Mini would probably work the best because it has a defined hump whereas the Ultralight 2 does not. Plus the Viper Mini is $40 and comes with a warranty and optical switches whereas the Ultralight 2 is at least $100, comes with mechanical switches, and doesn't come with a warranty. However, it is much lighter.
Sir Galahad so shape wise u like the viper mini more?
I think the Viper Mini is more suited towards palm than the Ultralight 2. I think they both have excellent shapes. I'm not sure which I like the best though.
So why did the DM1 software negatively affect the mouse? Also I like the scroll wheel a lot, whereas I didn't on the Air58.
I think it's cool that you compiled all the review data to see what parts failed on the different mice, that was probably the most interesting part of the video to me.
I have no idea why the DM1 software would negatively effect the mouse. As I would imagine it wouldn't be doing anything to the firmware of the mouse and only changing some settings that are meant to be changed anyways. But my Air58 feels way more responsive than my Ultralight 2. Whereas, it was opposite before I used DM1 on my Ultralight 2. So, I figured I would bring it up. Also, when I use the DM1 Software on my Ultralight 2 it no longer responds to commands via DM1. Like I can't make it 1,000 Hz. So, I'm not sure what is up.
Also, I'm happy you enjoyed that little tidbit. I think I'm going to try and start doing that going forward to better judge the quality of a product. Because me having a great experience is only 1/1 sample size which isn't great.
Also, as promised I had to give this comment a thumbs down because you're a heathen who likes squishy scroll wheels. Lol. But seriously, does it feel squishy to you or is it super defined. Because I'm wondering if I got a defective one? Also, what difference do you feel between the Air58 and the Ultralight 2?
@@ThomasMuehler To me the UL2 scroll feels less tense and a lot smoother. I don't really care about steps being defined yet I can still scroll tick by tick if I need. It's very good for bhop.

@@ThomasMuehler Oh yeah also my air58 one broke lmao. I did the hex key fix and it's very sloshy but works.
Man, that's frustrating. Heard another guy has double clicks going on for his. Did you try to go through the warranty process for it? Not sure where you live or if that is an option or not. Just curious on how it went if so.

It's the dream machine software. I just don't remember which one. You'll have to google it. I also don't recommend using it.
