    In Example 1, what about this case where we take c=1 --> n < n^2 and now taking n=1 --> it proves equality. But at the same time it falsifies little o definition --> 1 < 1.

      @ketulchhaya7746 in the definition they mention for the a number n0 which in your case would be anything bigger then n=1. I hope it helped.
