Our whole family moved to Germany from Texas 6 months ago because our two children are attending University here. It has been the most difficult experience of my life. It has only been this last month that I have started to feel like things are somewhat normal. I think you starting at a B2+ level is a huge advantage though! We started pretty much from scratch and I am now in a B2 course now. I wrote all that just to say this, the first year will be hard, but always remember that it will get better! Viel Glück!
Thank you so much @spiph23! I hope I get to meet fellow Texans here in Germany, Texas is like my 2nd home (Philippines is first) and I miss everything about Texas especially Ranch and Whataburger and Brisket bbq huhuhu gosh I never thought that I would come to love Texas so much, you have no idea! I think you will understand all my homesickness that I felt the last month, it was so bad. And yes, you are correct, with me starting at B2, the words didnt feel strange to me at all and I feel like I can communicate to a level that people can understand my thoughts, so that was really a big chunk of the work of moving here but I think all my investment of time and effort on that is worth it. But look at you, B2 within 6 months from scratch… That’s insane! So proud of you! 👏
Trust me the process to Germany never easy for me too. But I made it and studying in this beautiful country. I hope I can fluent my German soon and find a job to stay long time here. Life here is challenging but I really love staying in this beautiful country. I believe Germany gives me all the happy life I am wishing for. I can write a big essay about Germany but still I am writing my life chapters here. Happy to see a never give up lady like me.. ❣ I Wish you all the best!! ❣
Hi! I would like to congratulate you for your success. I'm happy that finally you made it!Yay!.. Im also currently processing my papers going to Germany. But still struggling with my B2 exam. Hehe, but I just want you to know that after watching this, you've inspired me.💖 Thank you for sharing your experience and for showing how tough you are. You made me realize that once you have a dream, despite of failures, despite of how long it may takes, stay still, never give up and be unbeatable until you get it!☺️💖💕
This made me so happy I’m crying right now. 🥹💕Thank you so much for this comment, sometimes I’m the last person so see all the work I’ve done. Update us on your progress with your B2 exam, just keep going dear. Pitfalls and hurdles will always be here but it doesn’t mean we can never make it. We’re allowed to always cry, whine and complain, but we always get back up, game face on.
Congrats po! 🥳 I also moved to Germany recently -- will upload a vlog soon! Iba talaga ang feeling kapag na-achieve mo na yung goal mo. Hard work really pays off! 💪
Congratulations on your move to Germany. I’ve watched a few of your other videos and I can tell that it’s something you worked hard on. I started learning German 4 years ago, but at the time I didn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to it because I was working a job and life got in the way, but since I have more time to dedicate to it now, I’ve noticed that I’m progressing a lot faster than I was in the past.
Congratulations on reaching Germany 🎉after facing so many difficulties! 🥺Watching your journey really motivated me. I completed my B2 course in June 2024 and passed three modules. I'm currently waiting for the results of my speaking module, which is my fifth attempt. I hope I pass this time! When you mentioned the recognition process, it really resonated with me. Just yesterday, I submitted my papers for recognition, and I was so nervous, wondering if I had included enough documents. I’ve been through similar situations where I wasn’t sure what would happen next, but I’m staying hopeful that everything will go well with my recognition process and other steps. As a 19-year-old girl dreaming of studying nursing Ausbildung in Germany, I hope to reach there by September 2025 without any rejections.I hope we can meet next year!❤
Whoa!!! That’s amazing, just keep doing your best 💕 Next thing you know, you’ll be hopping on that plane for your Ausbildung! Update me for the results. 🤩
Very useful information....one of the few times I wasn't bored watching a 30+ minutes video on YT....will surely come in helpful for me...thanks 👍 and congratulations 🎉

Best would be to ask a specialist from make-it-in-germany.com, like how I did on the first part. That way it’s tailored fit to your personal situation and you get EXPERT LEVEL advice. 😊You can ask them even if you haven’t started with anything at all.
