I had a hand in this project back when they released the originally I asked them to make a 2 speed version with the hardbody and full bed because we absolutely loved that for the 1:18 scale lineup. They actually listened and I'm blown away.
It's a nice little rig. Personally I prefer the LC80 👍
Fcx 18 is the best

Curious, does the middle gear act like a PTO if you've got a winch or something like that on it?
Not sure what a PTO is, but it's neutral basically, so it free wheels. 👍

I do like the detail of the body on this way more than the K5FCX10.
You may be on to something there, it's just compared it to my WPL C24 and it's exactly the same size. Not sure how big in real life a K10 would be to a Hilux, guessing they're bigger. But yeah it definitely makes the LC80 and TRX4M F150 look small.
FMS always seem to struggle with their scales for some reason! 🤷♂️

@@DoURC My grandfather had a K5 and I owned a Hilux. The joke was always the yota could fit in the back of the K5. (Not literally, but not too far off)
@@DoURC and agreed, so far I like the LC80 the most. This was meant to be a high trail killer. Which it mostly likely is. But that’s an easy feat when you throw scale out the window.

I know everyone harps on about Traxxas quality being way better, but I swear for the trx4m their quality control went out the window! The mirrors break off if you look at them funny, the slow speed control is awful and it sounds like you're murdering it when you try to drive over some rocks, it's like eeeeeeeee noooooooo! 🤣
Performance wise I still think the FCX24 is better than the trx4m and fcx18. 👍
After experiencing with this rc truck a lot in mud water bashing all the way. Can u say about the screws rusting or any problem within electrics??
There was some light surface rust yes but it cleaned off. The electrics are the waterproof, the power switch is the main issue. Still works though. 👍

For the money - this fms k10 or the TRX-4M high trail F-150 TRUCK?
FMS K10 is much better for money and much better performance out the box. Not as reliable as the trx4m though. 👍
