This was great! There are so many, so many that remain home and aren't as recognisable too. I'm glad you did this so I can add more and hope others will too, so i can see the shows if I haven't already. There is Graham Green, he was in so many movies and shows that I can't remember them all but most will know 'Dances With Wolves'. There is Gordon Tootoosis (who has passed), he is also in many movies but the one I remember most is 'Big Bear' because it was filmed on our reserve. There are the Podemski sisters. They have been in many movies and shows also, I wonder who remembers 'Dance Me Outside'. Right now Sarah Podemski is in the new show out of the States called 'Reservation Dogs', her sister Jennifer was in some of the shows also. There are so, so many. It would be easier to try to find Canadian made movies and shows and see them at work. lol Thank you Aussie.
There were a few I didn't know and quite a few I could have added. I remember Fay Wray at the Oscars one year. She must have been in her nineties by then. Billy Crystal was hosting and he introduced her in the audience and asked her to stand up. She looked a bit confused and asked, "What is it you want me to do?" Billy responded with "Just smile and wave my dear, you've already done everything you'll ever have to." A sweet moment with a truly beautiful lady.
I had to laugh. Christopher Plummer- The Thorn Birds? How about a tiny movie called The Sound of Music?! Lol❤️🇨🇦 Excellent job Tash! Love your videos, Cheers! Ps- Rick Mercer is my spirit animal!😂
Thanks for sharing this video, some I knew were Canadians but many I didn't. How some actors you grew up with and all along thought they were Americans only to find out years later they were Canadians In fact American media very rarely disclosed they were Canadians if at all. I just learned recently that an actor that did many movies before the 70's Glenn Ford was Canadian, would of never guessed
Not sure why Graham Greene never makes these lists :( He has been acting since 1983 and has been in many major movies including, Dances with Wolves, The Green Mile, Twilight (please don't hate me for that one lol ) & Diehard.
At One Point, I Didn't Know Canada Even Existed!, I Thought There Was Just A Bunch Of Snow And Ice Up There! And I Would Be Like "Oh That's The North Pole, That's Where Santa Clause Lives!" 😂😂😂😂, As An American, I Would Love To Visit Canada One Day! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
James Doohan and Lorne Greene are on both lists. I did not see Lynda Mason Green(War Of The Worlds 1988 -1990) on either list, or Marc Singer or Michael Ironside (V) who were both Candian born(but I think are now American) so that may be why.
This was really well put together Tash! Thank you!
An astounding amount of entertainment talent has come out of Canada. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for that! There are a😊 lot of incredibly talented people in that group! James Doohan will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤🇨🇦❤
Mine too.
Wow Tash so many I had forgotten. This was great to watch and remember them all! Oh absolutely loved flying through space as we watched very cool!🫶

So many missing on any list, to remember. Raymond Burr (Perry Mason) Kiefer Sutherland, Art Linkletter, Eric McCormack, Saul Rubinek
They could do a number of these videos. Walter Huston and Raymond Massey were both missing.

Two from Hollywood's Golden Era: Glenn Ford and Raymond Massey.

Katherine Isabel made a great first impression in the film Ginger Snaps.
Thank you 🇨🇦

Where's Amanda Tapping? From Stargate tv series ?
Elliot Page from Halifax 💪I've yet to read their new book. I might have to pick it up, though.
