I find his story - their story (Sam and Alise) - so compelling on a number of levels. After his accident, Sam had to find meaning in life beyond BMX racing, and it appears that he has. I'm sure, like all of us, he has good days and bad days, and days of despair when he dwells on what happened to him. As noted in the video, he's got a strong support system, including his wife, a Rock of Gibraltar of a woman if there ever was one.

Oh, I remember Craig Hospital. My son is a c4 incomplete. What a summer spent in Co. The images of same recovering are emotional.
