I am the seller of the psa 10 gold metal charizard. USPS lost it in the mail unfortunately... so minus 1 to the psa 10 population of this card.

Cgc blue label used to grade more strict then psa now they just give out 10s left and right
CGC needs to repent for missing those print lines
It went down 80% because people who wanted the image of that card can nlw buy a cheap ass chinese one for 300 bucks
As someone who grades with cgc yes they are very lenient when it comes to print lines and it’s quite annoying. I’ve submitted many cards with print lines including a masterball pikachu and it got a 10. So when I’m purchasing cgc graded cards with holo I always ask if there are print lines. I really wish they were as strict as Psa when it comes to this tbh. That card doesn’t deserve a 10. Also that Japanese promo card is going down in price I think because there is a much cheaper Chinese variant that is also printed in Japan and is just as beautiful. Think it’s around $45
Alola friends being 20k was ridiculous and if anyone spent that on it, don’t say you didn’t have it comin!

Cgc is pretty optimal for cracked psa9s and other cards with minor issues. Meganium is such good example that low pop always does not always mean extremely high price.

It was an experiment, the original owner whose a pretty big collector cracked a psa 8 sent to bgs and then to tag. It ended up getting a bgs 8.5 before it went to TAG.

Have you ever seen the the old PSA 10 Chanseys? Please pull up the scans of the last 3 sold and you’ll see none of those old cert 10s are as strong as this pristine 10 chansey, they all have multiple print lines and whitening
I have a PSA 10, and it is utter perfection ❤️ Not a scratch or print line in sight!

As the person who bought that Chansey, I knew the risks of that possible print line and for sure cgc ain’t perfect but I’ve seen some pretty terrible psa and bgs 10s. But I’m working on the pristine 10 base set unlim holo set and it’s pop 2. I’ve got 9 of the 16 so far and I just like cgc especially in the pristine 10 cases because they look much nicer in their cases and for the most part their pristines are pretty good. I actually also have the pop 1 jungle snorlax holo in cgc pristine 10 and that’s one is cleaner than any psa 10 copy ive ever seen. So it’s always a gamble. But collect what u love. Love ur content by the way, keep up the good work.
Also considering it went around 800 less than the last psa 10, I think most of the other bidders factored in that risk

That person trying to sell the masterball collection on Ebay for 13.5k was also posting in Pokemon facebook groups for 11k...Most of the comments were scoffing at his evaluation of the price lol.
