- Vincent wilde het hok van Einstein wel rietdekken. Het duurde even voor het moment daar was (èn het korte riet...) máár dan heb je ook wat. Toen nog nokvorsten erop en kláár!!

Brilliant! I have never seen the terracotta tile used with thatch roof before so that is a new wrinkle. It also looked like he arranged the thatch in almost a starburst patter rather than just down the roof or the path of the rain. I like it. In this case it did not last very long (5 years). The cause is high trees surrounding it, preventing the wind to blow the roof dry from rain. The person who made it (my brother in law) had warned me for it.
