This man’s driving a brand new BMW and shot somebody nine times he’s not crazy. He should be in prison for life not a hospital.

@@erikr695 I completely agree. The tough guy statement was a terminology and a figure of speech for somebody who behaves a certain way with no regard for other peoples life, I completely agree. This man is beyond a coward. 😒🥃
And I don’t think he belongs in the mental asylum. I think he belongs in prison with other people just like him.
Guilty except for insanity does not mean this killer will spend the rest of his life in Oregon State Hospital. He will spend the rest of his life under jurisdiction of PSRB or the Psychiatric Security Review Board. Here is what Oregon.gov says about PSRB "Individuals found guilty except for insanity are typically placed under the jurisdiction of the PSRB for the maximum sentence length provided by statute for the crime. Depending on the offense, that is 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, or life. While under PSRB jurisdiction, an individual can be housed in the Oregon State Hospital or in a variety of residential treatment settings, ranging from Secure Residential Treatment Facilities to independent living." This is why public defenders will do everything they can to fabricate an insanity defense.

😢 I remember this. It was tragic as hell. Glad there will be some form of justice. Sounds like hes able to get away scott free but I imagine its not so free. I hope the victems famiy feels they have justice.
