Gojo v2 was bugged when released the global buff and doesn't scale with strength(it scale with fruit which is a bug) I'm not sure if it's patched now cause some say it's patched some say it's not
Blacksmith doesn’t effect the buffs, otherwise every buff would be much higher then they are now. When I was comparing the toji and gojo buffs I was using my Sukuna for both instead of the support styles so they had the same base damage before the buffs were enabled. Toji is a higher buff at least the time of recording but gojo does more damage when being used.

If it’s a buff it isn’t worth using due to the stamina drain being so extreme for long grind. You are probably getting that random black flash attack which has a higher base attack, I have a feeling that is causing a lot of confusion for people on what they think the buff is.

When using a melee support style for attacking (like gojov2) use thunder spark v2 bc its very similar to jigoku where the melee buff is the highest

True infinity is also a buff btw so it is 2.8 with infinity and blue amplified
