Some places are dangerous. For example, a painter climbs up a ladder to paint the edges of the house roof. It is almost 3 story high.
In Canada, 'software engineer' (similarly for 'computer engineer', 'data engineer', 'network engineer', and 'IT engineer') is a regulated profession. Generally, one needs a 4-yr Bachelor degree in engineering; and the undergraduate program is CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board) accredited. There is a path for 'software engineer' to become Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) through provincial licensing.
Recently, Alberta relaxed the 'software engineer' title for tech sector to attract talent. People in CS and IT can call themselves 'software engineers' in Alberta. However, if the work involves applying engineering principles, it is still regulated by APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta). So far, other provinces have not followed Alberta's lead.

I believe you don’t require any certification but skillset only for career in saloon
Yes you can make around 200-250 cad / day by doing Uber eats , if you work around 8-10 hrs In a bigger city

For financial products, formal education is required and to get job in a Bank, almost minimum requirement is CSC course, Canadian Bachelors along with Canadian experience of Banking, which also won’t guarantee a decent job in current market situation.
Restrict your content as per the knowledge you have and it’s a white collar job you mentioned.
No formal education required for most banking jobs, some roles may require you to get a certification/license as mentioned in this video.
